All common areas and hallways have been freshly-painted and papered, complete with new carpet, lighting, and wall murals. The location is across the street from the beach, with a small gazebo park with paved path on the way. Views of both the ocean and bay can easily be seen from the complex. We rented Unit #301, a true gem, with 2BR/2BTH. With upgrades throughout, the granite-enhanced, well-equipped kitchen was a joy to work in; the double slider doors led to a generous balcony for dining; and bedding and furniture were crisply-clean and new. Finally, a word about our rental agent Diane Brannen: she is a great find in this era of indifferent and spotty service. This lady is a true professional, from the moment she waved her manicured hands to open the entrance gate, through my many (!) questions about the area, until our final check-out. It is comforting to know that she is a pleasant and guiding presence in the building, able to expertly handle any issue. There is also a security guard on the premises at all times. We hope to make this our new vacation spot at the Jersey Shore: immaculately clean, convenient, and well-serviced! Note: We rented through the Chris Henderson Realty Agency, and the experience was seamless. Strangely, they do not accept credit cards for deposits or payments.

The Condo had been totally refurbished beautiful wood cabinets granite countertops induction stove top ( which by the way was very hard to operate even after reading the extensive instructions). KitchenAid refrigerator Bosch dishwasher very nice amenities in the kitchen. Bathrooms were nicely appointed with all new tile -- new sink spigots-a wonderful shower plenty of water pressure. However the master bedroom mattress and beds in the unit were very uncomfortable . Queen size bed in the master bedroom was small. There we're two sofas in the living room and it was obvious they needed to be replaced when you sat in the cushion --you sank too far down making it uncomfortable -- springs were shot. The balcony had nice new furniture for seats and a high top top table. So while we enjoyed our stay we do not believe we will be returning to this unit.

Our two-room suite was quiet, and the restaurant staff were pleasant. Unfortunately, the bathroom looked grungy with a rusted toilet paper holder and poor cleaning, and the bed was uncomfortable. Both the bedroom and bathroom were tiny, and I kept hitting my leg on the bed frame when walking around. We were handed one vague sheet of information at check-in, and when my husband went back for clarification, the front desk still couldn't clearly explain the amenities. Most of the staff were unable to answer basic questions. The towel attendant stayed on her phone, and the manager seemed "put off" when asked anything. For a hotel on the high end of pricing in the area, I expected comfort and at least a touch of "luxury." Required valet parking added to the inconvenience. I would not stay here again.
