We reached out to Intellihome, they heard our ideas, added a few additional quality-of-life features that we hadn't even thought of, and got to work. Im not sure what I was expecting, but the end result exceeds even those vague expectations. The new wiring is a big future-proofing upgrade, wires are tucked neatly into the wall, and as you can see in my photo, there are zero cables hanging from the TV -- a crucial feature when you have four curious, chaotic cats. Intellihome was extremely easy to work with, exceedingly professional, and they do great work. When we eventually opt for further surround sound upgrades, we'll be calling Intellihome.

I recently moved into a home that Current Home Technologies was hired to set up the security system…read moreand surround sound equipment back in 2021 when the home was built. When the new homeowners moved out, they had Current Home Technologies come out to cancel their service and remove loaned equipment. Once I moved in, I noticed that the DSC security panel's installer code and master code were not reset back to the default codes when it should have been (as explained by Tony, the founder and CEO). Tony refused to send a technician out to reset the installer code (which would be a very quick and easy) even though it was due to their own error for not resetting it in the first place. As a result, they instructed me to just factory reset the panel myself, which will require a much longer process to re-enroll every sensor and device in the home. Pretty disappointed in their customer service as this is a mistake on their end and they're unwilling to correct it. They also had the audacity to try and "sell" me on starting monitoring service with them. This is definitely not how you get new customers and more business.
