If you want a daycare to ask for your help and strategies on how to care for an autistic or neurodivergent child--this daycare is NOT for you. If you want them to actually answer your questions, concerns, or actually watch security footage--this daycare is NOT for you. In 8 months, there have been 8 biting and/or scratching incidents involving my child (he was also absent for 35+ of those days due to health and hospitalizations). They dodge the questions, avoid face-to-face meetings, and continually aren't able to find any footage that shows who is biting, scratching, or bruising our child. They also refuse to allow you to watch the footage. The training manager openly said that the staff has difficulty applying what they learn in their STARS classes and that they don't know how to handle autistic kids--even though they assured me it would be fine when I toured there and reassured me when he actually started. The training manager also said that it's difficult to know what happens to my child because he's not able to verbally tell the adults when it happens--not quite sure how they don't physically see it happen since monitoring the kids is their literal job. It was also never brought to my attention that he was having social/emotional difficulties while at daycare until I brought up wanting to have a meeting regarding the recurrent biting issues--even though we asked about it every day and take him regularly to his speech sessions. So if you're looking for a daycare that doesn't actually watch and pay attention--this is the daycare for you. They also lie and say kids eat their food when they don't. I understand that autistic kids struggle with eating, but do NOT lie about it. See the photos of the biting and scratching that they "don't always know what happens" and "can't seem to find any video footage" regarding the matter. Here are also the dates associated with the incidents: Mar. 8-bruise on arm (they don't know what caused it, but he was apparently restless in his sleep during nap time--because that answers the question or shows that they looked through the video footage) Mar. 8- nickel-sized bruise that they can't explain Feb. 23-biting (only one documented by them and there was a second bite on his arm) Dec. 2- biting Nov. 5- scratching Nov. 4-biting Sept. 13-scratched and hit eye Sept. 10- scratching Aug. 24- biting Jul. 29- biting I've discussed this issue with them THREE times to work it out and actually help address the problem. I kept getting brushed off, and after the most recent undocumented bite and bruise, I had enough. I tried to continue giving them the benefit of the doubt and understand that kids do things sometimes. But they are not a quality establishment. Avoid this place like the plague.

I love the fitness classes most of which are free to members. The staff is very friendly and helpful. 1 1/2 hours of daycare is free when you are working out. Other gyms you have to pay extra. Great sports programs for the kids, my daughter is doing indoor soccer right now and she loves it. I gave it 4 stars due to some of the Zumba classes. Jen is great, but I wasn't impressed with Betsy's class. Ashley is amazing but had to quit due to other priorities which is why I go to her personal class across town. NOTE: YMCA offers scholarship membership to low-income families. You don't get that anywhere else ... that I know of.

When picking up my infant, I observed a teacher change a diaper and not wash her hands afterwards, then care for another child (feeding them a bottle with dirty hands). I can only imagine this happened frequently throughout the day. The place seemed so unorganized- my child came home wearing a diaper that didn't belong to us, proving that the organization needs to be improved. The amount of information we were given about our child's day was vague and incomplete. As a parent, it was very disheartening that I didn't know what my child did during the day. I was also uncomfortable that the babies slept in a separate room behind a closed door without anyone watching over them. My older child's classroom was just chaos. There didn't seem to be any sort of structure or organized play/learning in the classroom. Good thing he can hold his own, so I wasn't as concerned about him. I still had the same concerns about not knowing what my child did throughout the day, though. There was never good communication between the teachers and the parents. And the playground looked like an accident waiting to happen. It was overcrowded with children of all ages (from toddlers to big kids) playing with the same equipment, which was sometimes soaking wet from water play, and the teachers were hardly paying attention. The broken equipment should be removed, and the playground/playtime's should be broken up by ages. It wasn't worth the stress that I felt taking my kids there. I pulled them out as soon as I could. I felt sick to my stomach every time I dropped them off. I've waited a while to post this but I couldn't shake the feeling that I had to share. I would never ever recommend this place.
