Mark is a former high school teacher who picked up towing as a summer gig and has now carried it into retirement. Very professional and knowledgeable. We had a brake failure in the wilds of Castle Country and AAA refused to come. (Many of Utah's roads are not paved, and AAA seems welded to paved roads. We called Carrillo Towing, and Mark said that he'd meet us in 45 minutes. He arrived on time, put our 4Runner on his flatbed, and took us 130 miles to SLC for repairs. They helped me out when I got a flat tire and had no spare. It was my first car emergency and I was in tears when I called. Elaine calmed me down, helped me figure out where I was, and sent her son out to tow me to town where I could get my tire changed. She was kind, patient, and reassuring, even calling me back twice to make sure I was okay and let me know how soon the truck would be there. They took great care of me when I was in a pinch. No words can express our gratitude to Mr Carrillo and his wife. We had a near blow out in Price Canyon. Our insurance company, USAA, called Mr. Carrillo and he and his wife came, even though it was their anniversary. They took us to our truck and saw that the truck needed to be towed in. They checked where we could get a tire that fit our truck and advised us where we could buy it. They reassured us that they could take us to a motel where we could get a good rate. The garage that Mr. Carrillo brought the truck to is within walking distance from the motel and the mechanic was really nice and we felt that he was going to honest with us. Professionals? I THINK NOT. I would NEVER recommend Corillo's Towing to anyone. My car had to be towed due to an issue won't my oil pan. I was in the mountains and my insurance company had given them an incorrect address for the next town over after I had told them what town I was in. The Tow guy came and seemed to be in a rush. My car has been on ramps previously because I was going to have someone come work on it or tow it. I decided I had better call "professionals" to come get my car instead. Danny was the driver that had came. He instructed me to get inside of my car and put it in neautral. I was not able to start my engine or car because of my oil pan issue and so Danny physically pushed my car off of the ramps. I had the impression he would lower the tow bed and pull my car up from the ramps. When my car was pushed it came rushing down the ramps and my front bumper broke off along with my head light and fog light. My car SLAMMED ON THE GROUND WITH ME INSIDE MY VEHICLE. I was very upset as anyone would be because my vehicle had no body damage before and is only 3 years old. Danny did not seem to have any care on the world for the damage that was caused. I trusted a professional to take care of my BABY. I also trusted him with my safety inside my vehicle which clearly was a mistake. I called the owner Mark whom I hope will read this . (Small town big reviews to come) he didn't seem to have a care in the world for the body damage of my car and was more concerned my insurance gal had sent them on a "wild Goose chase" and said he would call me back. Danny arrived at my house frustrated I had called the owner . THIS OLDER MAN LOOKED DOWN ON ME AND STARTED POINTING AT ME TELLING ME THIS IS MY FAULT. That the company doesn't deal with ramps and that I am liable for my cars damage. Danny had not said one word or even raised an issue of my car being on ramps previously 2. He had no care in the world for the damage that was caused to my car. 3. A professional that is being sent to retrieve a car should let you know they can't work with them if they're on ramps, and also he should have taken better care of my car and not performed a rush $hit job. Why is this company saying they're not liable when all I did was put my car in Neutral? I DID NOT physically push my car off those ramps and I did as I was told by a "professional" WHILE INSIDE MY VEHICLE. Clearly I was not safe and neither was my car . Even after the tow I felt I wasn't safe after being talked down to with a town from an older man being i'm a female in my 20's and then on top of that to point at me while saying it's my fault? NO. Not anywhere near professional and I have not once got a call back from the owner as he said he would . Maybe he will call to tell me it's my fault some more after reading my review? All I know is I want all younger females to be aware of this and to always have someone with you or you will regret it. No man talks to any young lady that way and points at them. Carrillo Towing - Body Damage due to poor care - Towing Near Me

My car hit a rock at the bottom and was stuck on a dirt road near Joe's Valley. I called my insurance company and got transferred to a tow company, but they would not come out because my car was more than 15 feet away from a paved road, and they told me to call the local police instead. I found Carrillo Towing on Yelp, and Mark said he would be able to come out and help me. Luckily a few friends were able to push my car unstuck, so I did not get to use Mark's service. I called Mark again and he was already on his way out to me. I felt very bad that he was already on his way, but he was glad to hear that my car was unstuck! We were driving home from Lake Powell towing our boat when the hitch failed and the boat disconnected from the truck. It's amazing to find a real towing business instead of a dispatcher! I first called internet numbers, and quickly figured out they're just a phone service and don't actually do any towing. One didn't want to tell me the price, saying the towing guy would tell me. Another guiltily admitted it was $125 for a 1 mile tow. The gas station doing the repairs recommended Carrillo Towing. Within 30 minutes he was at my house, we had a friendly chat about the city, and he only charged me $45. Granted, it was only 1 mile. He didn't even ask if my truck could go into neutral, a question the dispatchers kept asking me, as if it were important. He didn't care, his rig lifted the back wheels up entirely, so he didn't need that. read more

Driver was a big jerk. He would not accept a credit card, and demanded cash. He then tried to talk me in to going to an ATM to take out a cash advance on my credit card, and became an even bigger jerk, saying it was no big deal to pull cash from my credit card, that the extra interest charge involved wasn't anything to make a fuss about.
