I was thankful to find this fueling station in the middle of nowhere (no disrespect Carrizozo as I'm sure you have some really fine citizens and businesses ... but you really are in the middle of nowhere). I was pleasantly surprised to find the fuel here 30 cents per gallon cheaper than in Las Cruces - Wow! You'll also find 12 pumping stations for autos/trucks, and separate pumps to the north for Semi truck drivers. There's plenty of room for maneuvering in case you're in a motor home or towing a trailer. The bathrooms are clean, and the store is well stocked with all the normal snacks, ice cream, etc.. and automotive needs. The little human interaction I had was upon leaving the store the employees wished me a happy day (1 extra star). If you're traveling south towards Alamogordo (60 miles away) and getting low on fuel, I recommend you stop in, get some fuel, try some of their ice cream, stretch, relax for a few minutes, and be thankful for businesses like this - especially in the middle of nowhere!! :) #ThankfulThursday

I usually stop here for refueling (surprisingly lower cost than some) my car and refueling myself with drinks & snacks when I'm traveling from Santa Rosa, NM (1-40) to El Paso, TX on US 54. It's about 1/2 way between those two points. If you need some gas, you really need to stop here before you go on too long because there's literally nothing here and Alamogordo about 60 miles away on US 54 unless you're willing to make a stop in Ruidoso or Cloudcroft really out of your way (and why would you do that when you're running low on your gas?). The bathrooms are clean, and the store is well stocked with all the normal snacks, drinks, water, ice cream, and automotive needs, etc. Customer service is good here.

went in here while visiting family from out of town and wanted to buy some lottery tickets at 2:30…read morein the afternoon and was turned away and told I could not purchase them because they do not sell lottery tickets during their shift change and they shut their Lottery machines down. i've been playing the lottery for many years in multiple states and I have never heard of anyone being able to shut down the state lottery aside from a certain time at night until morning. Obviously she's lying. Just doesn't feel good to be deceived when trying to be a customer.

However I've been here on multiple occasions and can testify to the fact that they're as cheap as any other place in Ruidoso. It's in a great location being on SR48 (Sudderth Dr.), and just west of SR70 approximately 1/2 mile. One can be confident in a quality fuel when stopping here. As with all fuel stations in New Mexico (that's been my experience), they offer the 3 basic unleaded fuels in 86, 88, and 91 octanes, along with diesel. Credit and debit cards are accepted, and squeegees are available to clean your windshield. It's not cramped like some stations, offering easy entrance and exits for larger vehicles and those with motor homes or trailers. It's covered so there's a lot of shade and some protection from any occasional showers. This is my "go to" station when I'm in Ruidoso. I recommend you check them out.

Most of the employees are criminals but it probably feels like home to them. Every store is different so don't get use to the layout of one.
