Beware of this business! I called them last week and asked them if they worked on Sunday. They…read morereplied that they did, but did not mention that they charge extra for working on Sunday. When the day arrived, they forgot about our appointment and I have to call to wake him up and he came hours late. They came unprepared and had to go and get more parts before they actually started on the job. Before they started the job, I confirmed the price with them and they said that the job will cost around this much for 2 job but when he arrival he realize that he only do one job only and only take 5 minutes to to do it and charging over $200 for it . What they did not mention is that they will charge you for the parts when they come unprepared and you have to pay him to travel to get the parts. By the end of the job, it cost me almost double the price of what was confirmed previously. There is no way that this business has a five-star rating, they must have gotten fake good reviews or they asked their friends to give them good reviews because this was definitely not a five-star service. Before you hire this company, make sure that you and they agree and ask for the invoice with details in writing before they start the job. They will lie to you and say this much to finish the job but in the end, they will rip you off by charging you double or more for the job. No matter how much you argue with them, it will not change the fact they will lie and rip you off. Make sure to record the conversation on the phone to prove that or they will change their story.

I can't say enough good things about Mike, the owner of Above All Plumbing…read more I've worked with Mike for over five years across a wide range of projects--from simple repairs like fixing a leaky sink all the way up to full-scale replumbing of a 48-unit apartment building. In between, he's handled just about everything you can imagine, and he's even done work at my personal residence. That alone should tell you the level of trust I have in him. What truly sets Mike apart is his reliability and professionalism. He shows up when he says he will. He starts jobs on time and, just as importantly, he finishes them. In an industry where it's common for contractors to bounce between projects, leaving jobs half-done while they chase the next one, Mike is the exact opposite. When he commits to a project, he sees it through. He doesn't disappear for weeks while juggling other work. He stays focused and gets it done. He also consistently finishes within the scheduled timeframe. And in the rare instance where something needs to shift, his communication is excellent. He doesn't leave you guessing. He's proactive, transparent, and respectful of your time and schedule. Beyond that, Mike is dependable, hardworking, and honest. With the volume of units and projects I manage, I've worked with a lot of trades over the years. It's not easy to find someone who combines skill, integrity, consistency, and strong communication--but Mike does. Whether it's a small residential repair or a large multifamily project, he treats the work seriously and stands behind it. That kind of consistency over five-plus years is rare. If you're looking for a plumber you can truly rely on--someone who shows up, communicates clearly, finishes what he starts, and does quality work--Above All Plumbing should absolutely be your first call.

Mike was referred to us through the electricians we hired to do the plumbing work on our home…read moreaddition on a small south city home that included a powder room (5x8) and small master about 6x8. As the project progressed he made decisions about toilet/shower/sink placement that we said we didn't want, but his response was always "no, that can't be done" or "that's not how it works". He would come in, act as if we were burdening him and he was doing us a favor. He misplaced the toilet and sink despite many requests and then charged us to make those fixes despite them being his mistakes. He started to become quite indignant. This is our first home addition but have done large home renovations in the past. We naively trusted him, but as the process went on our other contractors would find errors. He didn't do basic things (for a home addition) like adding water spickets outside, or make sure the current plumbing was functioning correctly. I grew too scared to ask him anything and he continued to force us to pay more and more for things that would have been considered standard for this scope of work. He recommended (and we purchased) a shower pan, then he got angry and told us it wasn't acceptable. We had to hire another contractor to come in and fix this because he said it wasn't in his scope, then because we had to hire someone else because he said it wasn't in his scope that he was going to pull the permits off of our house because someone else worked on the shower base. We felt stuck and scared. He had sent several threatening texts. We asked if he could just finish what he was willing to. In total we paid him $16,550 which was over the bid. And we still don't have a shower or working sinks in either bathroom (he said he didn't know we were doing a wall mounted sink/faucet, he never asked and we aren't plumbers and didn't know we had to tell him). He also stole a brass drain fixture because it apparently wasn't the correct one so he took it. When we asked about it, he admitted it and returned it and said he assumed it was trash (although he had confirmed during the walk through that it would work and it was special ordered and he returned it without the box making it not returnable). He took that but never cleaned up or took his trash and pvc discards and left a mess the 3x he worked on our home. The hours he worked were less than 24, he was paid more than 16k, the job never finished, he never did basic due diligence on anything and we asked him to make sure the new and old were working and the next day had a sewage back up/flooded basement (that we didn't bother even calling him or addressing it with him because we knew he would try to charge us an outrageous amount, also when we hired someone else we were scared because he said no one else could work on the plumbing in the home because he had pulled the permit). Job is still not complete and he is threatening to put a lien on the home. I feel out of options, scared of him, don feel safe that he knows where I live and that he has us over a barrel. He continues to threaten us and demand more money when we've continually had to hire other people to fix his work. Maybe this wouldn't happen to others, but I feel taken advantage of. I feel he's holding us hostage and don't know what do to. We have spent a lot of money and have no working plumbing by him and I think people need to be aware of what he is capable of. He did physically steal something and then got angry that we questioned it and that he threw it away. I have cried many years because of him and if you are a woman... I will bluntly and confidently say, do not hire this man.
