The second truck, needed a transmission, quoted $12,000 and rose to $18,000 plus they fixed my axil another $3,400 plus storage fee of $2,700 claimed it was interest and the owners always charges a storage fee? The best is, I told them I would pay the bill and not to worry about my transmission. So I paid the $5,500 bill and had the truck towed to my yard. When the truck arrived at my yard, it had no transmission. When I asked (Sebastian) about my transmission, Sebastian said it had a crack and they through it way (Lies). Meet one of the mechanics who worked at Jensen's, he told me, that the owners and Sebastian scam customers! They rebuild the transmission then resell the used transmission as rebuilt. We were traveling to Canada…read moreand had just crossed the border into St Stephen when we got a low tire pressure notice -- turns out we had driven over a screw. It was Canada Day and after 5pm, so nothing was open on the St Stephen side. Luckily we were able to turn back around and get to VIP just before closing. They stuck around late to patch our tire and sent us on our way in under 40 minutes. We would have been looking at an overnight stay in Calais plus, likely, having to have the truck towed had they not been so accommodating. Thank you to Joe and the crew for going above and beyond to treat us with kindness and make sure we were able to safely get back on the road!
