I chose Precision Marksmanship HQ in Dayton as my go-to. It is a very small shop but if you want personalized service this is the place to go. Matt the owner is very knowledgeable and can help with any of your needs. In addition, he is a military veteran who served our country. His prices are equal to, or for the most part lower than the larger stores. He can get you the firearm of your choice more quickly than most other shops, especially hard to find firearms. We started with a bit of a basics refresher with both pistol (G17) and carbine (AR15 and AR10). We progressed through a variety of skills drills with each platform separately then moved to transitioning between platforms while introducing more movement and a bit of cardio to simulate stress. Jeff shared a lot of practical skills and advice and I left with plenty of "homework" both for the range and dry fire. I highly recommend Jeff and ODM for your training needs and I am already looking at dates for my next course.

It appears he has indeed done his research. Class time goes by very fast because it is fast-paced and filled with videos, demonstrations, and real-life examples. I received a complete package of printed materials, free schwag, and a book, all included in the price of the class. We spend more time at the range than in other classes I have taken. He thoroughly goes over safe handling, and realistic techniques unique to the demands of the CCW holder. I highly recommend this class.

Man I wish they had some space heaters hanging overhead in their outdoor ranges. My hands! LOL The service is straight forward. From stopping in, signing a waiver, picking up some rental items like ear or eye protection--it's all tremendously affordable and under $20. This alone offers a tremendous value. In terms of a selection per se, you can sign up for a membership which ranges from $30-$40 a month depending on the plan or you can go for a single day visit. Adults about $15. From there it's all about the training. From as little as 3 yards to as much as 2000, go for it. Pistols, shotguns, ARs, bring it. They also have some firearms you can rent while you're there at an affordable price (but there's a range fee required when using their firearms). It's a bit of a journey out to head out to Pyramid Way where they're located, but you should consider the journey and training there if you're serious about firearm training and understanding these tools in a wonderful outdoor setting that puts you in the mentality of growing your skill and proficiency. Shout out to Dean who was our Range Safety Officer that day. He was courteous, professional and that's what you want when working with firearms. Check them out!

I was offered a job by a very accomplished dentist within 30 min of starting my required externship. The Dr. was impressed with my knowledge and ability to jump right in and do what was needed. I would recommend this course to anyone. The school has an open door policy that allows all its students past and present to attend classes, lectures or return to practice. The class size is kept small so that you can get help whenever you need it. You can contact multiple teachers and ask questions whenever needed. The Dir/Admin were very helpful in helping me find Financial Aid in order to attend. This school is amazing and has given me a career I can go anywhere with!!!

It was an 8 week course that was a mess from the start, the textbooks were a week late, there was supposed to be online classes as well that were either never on time, the teacher wouldn't show up, or her videos wouldn't show on screen causing a lot of "filler" work. Me as well as most of my classmates did not befit from this class at all, we had to learn from actually working in a dental office. When enrolling in this school it claims that it certifies students in CPR, however after 8 weeks there has been no CPR and we will have to wait over a month after the class is over to take the CPR course. Overall this course and school was a complete joke, I would not recommend, it was a waste of time and money.
