BEWARE!! Carstar does not stand behind their service, Rust appeared this spring on panel repaired by Carstar. Brought it to their attention. They contacted insurance company (I have no idea why) and subsequently advised insurance company would not cover? Asked for an estimate to repair rust spot. Two weeks later have not received estimate. During this time I contacted Audi dealership. They advised workmanship was substandard and would not be covered under Audi's Body Protection plan and advised that body shop where work was performed should stand behind their work and rectify the rust problem. I' ve contacted three other body shops for estimates ranging up to $1500 With a written guarantee of their work. So, if you are shopping for body repairs keep in mind that Carstar could cost you re-repair dollars down the road as they will avoid accepting responsibility for their shoddy workmanship. read more

So my boyfriend and I had gotten into a car accident in the beginning of February 2023, it's now mid July 2023. He had gotten his car back but in less than 24hours, it had to go back to the shop because we had found like 7-8 problems with the car, scratches that were never there, things weren't put in properly. It's now been two weeks back in the shop and they have offered to put on the summer tires. They said we could get it on the Friday, still wasn't done, waited until Monday, still wasn't done, now it's Tuesday and they had said we could pick it up today for sure. We called again and it's not ready, still hasn't put the summer tires on, they want to do a cleaning of the car and do their own inspection when it's already been to the dealership for a inspection. We'd rather do all that stuff on our own. Even before waiting for the parts, took 5 months to get the parts when parts shortages is not really an issue anymore! He was out of a car for 5 months, they only gave him a rental car for a month. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you want to wait months for your car to be fixed! read more

After my car was rear ended, I took it to Autobahn/ Carstar repair facility in Barrie, a facility accredited by my insurance company, TD Insurance. The facility is very clean and modern, and the customer area is comfortable. The staff is friendly, professional and efficient. Staff members Trevor and Sam assisted me. They did the preliminary damage assessment, and the following week booked my car in, called for the rental car company to pick me up there, and communicated directly with TD Insurance throughout the process. Once repairs were completed, they promptly contacted me. They showed me the repairs and ensured I was satisfied with the work. My car looked like new. It was washed and partly detailed also. The paperwork and expenses were handled directly between Autobahn and TD Insurance. I was impressed by the professionalism and personableness of Trevor and Sam. They took the stress out of the process. I strongly recommend Autobahn if you need bodywork done on your vehicle. 5 stars. read more
