Try the local salt fish speciality or carpaccio of beef. We sat on the pavement but inside was fab aswell, interesting furniture and a deli counter. Not in the main square of this town and may be a little tricky to find but find it you must! Loses a star for service, which was very good but took a whole to get the vill at the end - think it mauy be the French way though!

It's family run and the Chef and his daughters actually serve you food which I thought was neat. For dinner you get to choose a starter, main dish and a dessert or cheese. The menu is small so you know they make their food perfectly. I ordered the ravioli cheese for started and my wife went with the Foie gras. Both were delicious but thought the ravioli was more tastier because I'm a fan of cheese. The presentation of the foie gras was better though. We both went with the wagyu main dish which was also great. I think I would have gotten the fish dish if I weren't hungrier for more rich taste given that the wagyu basically cooks itself. Finally for dessert we went with the chocolate over the fruity one. It was good and the portion was generous too. Overall great place to spend the night in!

When we askes for some extra bread that was no problem at all. The wine was of good quality and quantity. The food was lovely, plates were made up beautifully and the coffee after dinner was very good. The environment is welcoming and warm. Overall we had a lovely experience and if you're ever in Cavallion this place is worth a visit when it comes to dinner.
