I shop at Torrid primarily online, during their sales, or with Haute Cash. You can also find great deals in the back section (sales rack). If you don't mind rummaging through the racks. The associates know my name when I come in (it could be because they've seen it on so many packages lol). I'm always surprised by that, but it shows me that they take that extra step. They've helped numerous times when I needed a last minute outfit for an event or for work. I've heard them compliment certain items when someone tries them on (it could be a sales tactic idk). I remember a woman came in while I was shopping; she was looking for a swim suit for her vacation. They worked with her to find the one that accentuates her curves and doesn't make her feel bad about herself. They made me want to get a suit and I don't even need one! And they're honest. Sometimes I just want a basic blouse without all of the skulls, eyes, or Disney characters. But unfortunately, Torrid is owned by Hot Topic, so you may have to search a little harder or try a different store. But, I honestly like the staff and the layout here. It closer to my house than the Cumberland or Alpharetta locations. They are super helpful and will make it work. Just don't hold the prices or selection against them.

Unfortunately though, not one associate mentioned that it would be "buy 3, get 3 free" the very next day on body care items, so I ended up just taking advantage of the "buy 3, get 1 free" body care deal and 5 for $8 hand sanitizers (pocket size) - with the regular priced pocket sanitizers being $2 each. I also grabbed two hand soaps for regular price just because they were favorite scents of mine. Everything went smoothly with browsing and checking out. I would come back to this location. None of the salespeople were overly aggressive, unlike some locations, which was nice. Everyone was masked up and distancing, so no concerns there. Not only did they not know the item price that I was buying, but they just randomly made one up, which was absolutely ridiculous for what I was getting. I had to return to talk to the cashier after paying the high price they made up (cashier and girl manager.) They gave me credit back, I had to go myself and find the correct price and make the line again to pay. No apologies for the unprofessional service. Your associates should treat customers better and be more informed and professional.

When I recently visited to pick up an online order, two employees stood talking at the front. There was no acknowledgment of me as a customer. As I stood there waiting, one shot me a look and said "Give me a second" as she continued her conversation. Even the other employee looked kind of puzzled as what they were discussing seemed trivial. When she finished and deemed me worthy of assistance, the employee worked on gathering my order. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I'm just baffled. As someone else mentioned, this location is convenient, but it pales in comparison to other locations when it comes to customer service. That's a shame.
