Love DSW! You can find just about any pair of shoes from dress to casual shoes. Today I was there for a specific shoe and that's the New Balance walking/weekend/traveling shoe. I received my $10 birthday coupon so why not use it on the sneakers! The cost of those New Balance sneakers are $74.99. Not bad considering they're $80 on New Balance website. I also grabbed a pair of socks to wear w/loafers/mules/booties. I didn't realize you get 5 pair for $14.99. There are several colors/styles. The store is very clean well stocked. I hardly ever find empty stalls. I can say if you wear a 9 or larger those sizes are slim to none. So if you see that size is available I would suggest buy it. It won't be there tomorrow:) The associates are very nice . There are 6 registers and at least 4 cashiers are there to assist you. This DSW is located next door to Kirkland's and Sprouts. Conveniently located in the Webb Ginn shopping plaza's. If you're in the area, check out this DSW. I've been to several and this is one of my favorites. lady at the register today wouldn't refund me for a pair of shoes I wanted to return. Per the return policy, as long as the shorn isn't worn and damaged, you can return it. I tried these shoes on and walked around on my balcony (my apartment is small so that's the only place i can walk around) and she is saying they're damaged because of that. I didnt wear them out, they're way too small, I couldn't have if i wanted to. This is ridiculous that I cant be refunded for shoes that don't fit me. So what, if you try them on, you can't return them and get a refund??! That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. It started when I went in to purchase a new pair of New Balance as suggested by my podiatrist and to my surprise I could donate my old shoes and get $10 off Though I've had my phone number registered with DSW I've never really taken advantage of it. It's been awhile since I've visited a DSW in person. Today, I wish I hadn't. I love DSW. However, this particular experience was lacking. I picked up an online order in-store--only to find the shoes were not packaged inside of the box. They looked as though they'd either been returned or a sample pair. When I requested an exchange, the sales associate, Debra, was dismissive--explaining the return/repurchase policy before even checking to see if they had the shoe in store. Thankfully, another associate heard her and offered to check. After explaining my reasoning, Debra went on to say the shoes (with the straps flopping around and no plastic wrap) had not been worn. As a customer, I didn't ask for that. I just wanted a pair of shoes that looked new as I'm paying for them. I don't think I'll be back at this store. read more

If this is the store next to sprouts, and you need a little friendly assistance while you shop, this place has one young girl roaming around in her cell phone watching videos and after being there an hour she avoided me 3 times by looking at me and before i could ask a question . . She gone! Finally asked her if they carried on- clouds, of couse after i verified she did work there . . She had no idea, nor knew what they even were. Puzzling experience!! read more

Great place to shop for shoes with competitive prices. Interesting the employees don't seem to smile much and the temperature seems to always be slightly too warm. Believe it or not, I've never actually bought shoes from a DSW store until recently. I've definitely been to numerous DSWs to browse their selections of shoes, but I never found anything in my size that I really liked and thought was worth the price. Fast forward to last Friday... After enjoying a nice lunch at Red Robin, my younger sister wanted to shop for shoes. We were planning to go to a mall for shoe-shopping, but we saw that there was a DSW store and decided to check it out. I'm so glad we did! This DSW is large, spacious, clean, and very well-organized with a good selection and variety of shoes. It was probably three or four rows of shoes that I had to browse through before I found a few pairs that were my size (5 to 5.5). Initially, I thought maybe their smallest size in the whole store was a 6 because I didn't see any 5 to 5.5 size women's shoes. I'm glad we kept looking until we found some smaller sizes! In addition to the "regular" priced shoes in the main part of the store, there's a clearance room in the back by the restrooms! And although it was a small section, they actually had some 5 and 5.5 size clearance shoes! That was exciting. =) When I was ready to purchase a pair of black slingback pumps, the employee who was ringing up my order asked if I had a DSW Rewards card. I told her I didn't, and I asked if it was free. Since it was, I told her that I was interested in getting one. She told me about a few of the perks they offer for Rewards cardholders, including the fact that you would receive a $10 Rewards certificate for every 1,500 points you earn, free shipping on online orders, and a certificate for $5 off your purchase for your birthday. I mentioned the fact that it was actually my birthday that day, and she gave me an immediate $5 discount, which was unexpected but awesome. It also just so happened to be a tax-free holiday on my birthday, so no sales tax was charged on the shoes, either! Woohoo! Overall, this DSW store gets 4 stars for their friendly service and large yet well-organized selection of men and women's shoes. Although the black pumps I purchased weren't necessarily cheap, supposedly the "Compare at Savings" (on my receipt) was over $30, meaning the "regular" retail price would have been that much more. Now that I know about the DSW Rewards card and have my own, I will definitely be shopping at their stores more often. I'll return to this particular store if I happen to be in the area in the future. THERE REALLY IS NO SUCH THING AS TOO MANY PAIRS OF SHOES! This place was hopping today! They had a great supply of sandals that were fun and colorful. I found a really cute pair of suede ones in a red-orange color so I grabbed them. Although they were not available in my size in the store, the employee ordered them on line and they will ship free to my home. Winning! I also found a nice pair of comfortable Teva flip-flop wedges for my daughter. They are casual and comfortable, yet they still look nice with a casual dress because they have a slight heel. Unfortunately my husband did not fare so well because it is always a challenge finding a solid black sandal that is not casual. They tend to offer them only in brown and that is just not practical. I would love to see them increase their options in the men's department so that there is a greater variety of choices. I am so happy that this year's shoes were made with cuteness AND comfort in mind. Thankfully, I don't feel that I have to sacrifice comfort for attractiveness and vice versa. Thank you DSW! Although they had a great selection of sandals for women, many of the larger sizes were missing so if you fall into that category, you'd better get moving! ***This store is located in the Shoppes at Webb Gin. ***The employees here are excellent! ***It took six days for me to receive my sandals. At this point I have sent 4 emails about the tracking of my shoes that I ordered 3 weeks ago. I still have heard nothing. I waisted $60.00, and haven't managed to be able to get anyone on the phone either. I'm writing this review based on my second time visiting this location. I've frequent many locations, mostly in the NYC area but I recently relocated to Atlanta area a few weeks ago. My first experience was average; clean and inviting appearance, well stocked inventory. This review is based on my second time at DSW off Webb Ginn. I wanted to exchange the shoes I initially purchased. As soon as I walk through the doors and peeked down the first aisle, I was approached by a smiling sales associate. She greeted me and quickly brought notice to my DSW shopping bag asking if I was returning. I said yes, and she offered to take my shopping bag up front to the cashier so I don't have to carry it around while I shop. To the majority; that a lovely sign of customer service, almost concierge level, but to a minority it's different. You've grown privy to the methods of being passively monitored and profiled. What I saw was a preemptive measure to assure I won't steal shoes. My suspicion was confirmed as the same sale associate quickly greeted a distinguished woman who entered the store with a DSW shopping bag but failed to offer her the same option of keeping her shopping bag up front. At that moment. I stopped shopping and just walked up front to ask for a refund. I was appalled at how covert the method of profiling was and I was still a target of this. I love shoes and bags, as most women do and often frequented DSW to fill that joy but after yesterday, I will not support this location and at the moment, this company for how I felt yesterday. I must say, kudos on their muted method of profiling but it hurt even more my intelligence. So bye bye DSW. I will be sure to share my experience to anyone willing to listen. read more

I have been a rewards member for years and I have come to realize that DSW has the worst customer service in retail. Calling the customer service 877 number is a 30 minute wait time for each call. The catch phrase is: we care about you, but yet there is an average wait time of 27-30 minutes. What an irony? I ordered a pair of sandals online and for some reason the system has began dropping my house number from the mailing address. This has not happened in the past. I have received many, many shoe lover boxes but this time I ordered a pair of sandals for a Mother's Day trip. I saw the confirmation email stating that the shoes were shipped along with the expectation date. A week later I received an email stating that the shoes were being returned to the company because of an undeliverable status. I have been living in my home for 10 years. I have also received multiple mailings to my same address for years detailing every shoe promotion or sale at my home address. I tested the site and it shows my full home address. I called the 800# and I received the worst customer non-care ever I asked to speak to a manager and I was unfortunately transferred to Sameen who was just as rude as the associate before her. I was asked to travel an hour away from my home to pick up another pair of shoes because that store had them in stock. My reply was " So I am supposed to pass Macy's and many other great shoe stores to pick up a pair of shoes, no way!" When I asked to speak to her manager she said :I am the highest supervisor in the building!" I then called the Lawrenceville store who at first seemed very concerned. She made a call to the 800# and she apologized and she said that she would contact the customer service department to get my order taken care of. I cashed in $20 of rewards points towards the purchase which I lost in this transaction. She stated that she would mail a gift card to me for my trouble and as a way to apologize for the troubles. Well that never happened. Unfortunately I lost the $20 credit and I did not get the gift card. I will just stop shopping with DSW altogether. read more

Well manicured store. Easy to find shoes. I found my knee high boots right away. Open space...extremely easy to maneuver. Good selection of shoes. The prices are good if you are looking for good quality shoes. I bought a pair of dress shoes from here 5 years ago and they still look brand new. My knee high boots with studs were $80 bucks but since I will probably only perform in these it's a good buy :-) read more

I'm a VIP member and I buy a lot of shoes! I've visited many DSW stores and this particular DSW IN GINN WEBB is not a very friendly store. No one ever greets you, never do they offer help or assistance, they never want to make eye contact so they don't have to acknowledge you! Not a lot of shoes in stock to choose from either or accessories as well. When you come to check out online most DSW stores they are very nice and address you by your name also are very informative about your account for example if you have bonus bucks coupons stuff like that, but this store they're very unfriendly and have sad unfriendly faces, don't smile pretty seem like they don't want to be there... and when you have bonus bucks you tell them but they always seem to forget to apply it at checkout! Also when there's free gifts with purchases they seem to get annoyed when you ask for it almost like it's their personal property or something and I don't appreciate that at all! They should also learn to say thank you to the customer so overall not a friendly shopping experience I'll not be returning to this store in the future! read more

I try to check out DSW 1st before I buy any shoes I'm in need. Nearly every time I visit this location a staffer asks what they may do to help find anything, which is a real plus for any shopping experience. Since Mrs. K. and I use the frequency card, we get our purchases building up to a little extra benefit coupon, and that's nice. Great selection at reasonable prices works! read more

went to DSW for some basic black leather shoes for work. They did not have any (?) so we ordered some for $50 to be delivered to my house. 5 days later I received the shoes. The shoes were used. Not, "tried on, walked around the store a little bit" but USED. As in someone wore them for a week or two- decided they didn't like them and DSW decided to try to pass them off as new to me. Rocks stuck in the bottom tread, scuffs, inside logo rubbed off from wear and the collar of the shoe was starting to pill. Unbelievable. I called the "help line" and was on hold a total of 45 minutes before Shakira the helpful customer service agent came on the line. When I remarked on the wait time, instead of apologizing or any kind of appropriate response... she said " Yeah, the lady before you said she was on hold for an hour..." ??? When I told her what happened and forwarded pictures not once did I get an "Oh my, I'm sorry, that should never happen" or anything like that... what I got was a testy annoyed tone that told me that they would send me another pair of shoes... but to expect more of a delay, because now they have to go through a supercheck... a supermakesurethesearereallynewshoes kinda check.... that takes an additional 48hours. And I had better mail the "goodwill" shoes back or I will be charged twice...... Long story short. I mailed the Goodwill shoes back and I am waiting on my refund. I will never, and I do mean NEVER... purchase anything from DSW again. And, to top it all off, I found the exact same shoes on Amazon this morning for $20 cheaper, free shipping, free returns AND they will be here tomorrow. DSW you suck.
