Our first experience there was a couple months ago to look into strollers/car seats and we had the best experience with Philip, who walked us through all of the options available to us based on the stroller we were being gifted. He helped us practice collapsing and setting up the stroller, and then talked about the pros and cons of basically every compatible car seat. He was so knowledgeable, funny, and we felt really good after leaving. We didn't purchase that day because we wanted to do more research, but he's the type of employee that after we spent time with him, I insisted we find the manager and tell her how wonderful he was. We returned last week, we were looking for a crib and I'll admit it was definitely busier and I get the impression the employees have their "areas" where they're more knowledgeable. The woman who was talking about cribs was busy with another couple and we spent quite a bit of time hanging out on the chairs/gliders while waiting for our turn to talk to her. She was very nice, not the most helpful with cribs (it does sort of boil down to what aesthetic you're looking for, I guess, since they all meet safety standards) but talked us through all of the mattress choices and explained them all. We had to place an order for the crib we wanted, which they had already ordered 4 and we were put "on the list", and they called 5 days later to say it was in and ready for pick up. All of our experiences here have been very smooth, very positive, and I hope that continues to be the case because I'm sure we'll have a few more visits there before baby arrives.

Instead of refunding each payment to its original method, they refunded both orders entirely to the gift card. This is not only misleading but feels like a deliberate tactic to trap customers' money into store credit, whether they want it or not. I reached out to customer service, hoping this was just a mistake, but was told there's nothing they can do. No accountability, no flexibility, and no attempt to resolve the issue properly. It's extremely frustrating and frankly feels like they're taking advantage of the gift card system to benefit themselves, not the customer. I will not be shopping here again -- and I strongly caution others to read the fine print and be wary of how refunds are handled.

Came across this store one day while walking towards food court and was so impressed with the…read moredresses here. The quality is superior in all of their dresses and I wanted to buy every dress in the store for my daughter. Owner was very helpful giving suggestions with styles and sizing. I ended up getting the one flower girl dress for my 14 months old daughter and it fits her so well. Lastly, I can't believe how affordable it was too as compared to bridal stores that charges average few hundred dollars. I will definitely be revisiting for future special occasion dresses.

Occasionally when I came back to Canada to visit, friends would send me with lists of clothing to picking up here and bring back to them. But I never really had reason to purchase these pint sized items. But with a niece and another on the way I'm in full aunty mode. Although I find kids clothing expensive in general given the size of the clothing and how quickly it gets outgrown (not to mention dirty) Hatley's pricing is quite reasonable, especially if it's on sale - then if you can think far enough in advanced (or don't mind having last seasons prints) there are some fantastic bargains to be had. I just picked up the most adorable raincoat for my niece (on sale of course) and am putting it in the mail tomorrow!
