I liked getting some used clothing of brand names for less, like Hatley and Roots. There may be some good finds hidden but there are also a lot of clothes that look outdated. I have also purchased new stuff for my kid, like hair bands, stockings, hair elastic, bracelet, and ear muffs. Unlike other preloved stores, this one does not have a rewards program for more purchases. Their new clothing is usually like almost $60 for one dress for a toddler. However, there may be new staff here that don't feel as welcome when I walk in. Their preloved stuff is sometimes overpriced. And my first consignment try was a disappointment. Instead of telling me the requirements of what they accept, they had me sign a paper with my details and drop off - when I asked for details on the rules they have, the woman told me it was same as that sheet of paper. They had me hopeful that my kid's outgrown clothes will sell. They rejected the item and I had to schedule another trip in to pick it up. It would have been easier if I knew the first time. They don't seem to greet visitors to the store or ask to be helpful anymore like they used to.

It houses new and previously owned branded kid's/infant's clothing and shoes arranged from sizes and age, along with new items like hats and adorable sunglasses. Exclusive brands like Jack and Lily, Burberry, Nordstroms, Ralph Lauren, Prada, Gucci have declared no introductions needed that withstands wash and wear, appearing unspoiled and brand new once on the shelves at a fraction of the cost. Feeling out the materials while wandering the store after a full minute will make you forget brands that mass produce vapid onesies and jeans that are light years behind trendy and isn't comfortable at all, based on my son's immediate tantrum after I have him fitted in a $10 jeans that look super cool but rough on his sensitive skin. Between baby showers, birthdays, hand me downs from family and friends, we sometimes are stuck with a vast selection of majority brands that are mainstream and I personally feel it's so yummy to watch my 7 month old infant beat his papa's swagger any day with an $80 Burberry off-white onesie. A splurge and a score!

The lady who helped us (who I can only assume was the owner) was the sweetest and kindest sales person I've ever met. She made great suggestions, was so friendly and really was so patient with my super cranky daughter that would not stop crying. She tried to cheer her up and even gave her a lollipop. She put together a whole outfit which was all reasonably priced. You honestly can't pay for that kind of customer service these days so it was refreshing to see. I will definitely keep Kostatex in mind for future events. This place and its staff are just simply amazing!

So much is only available on the web. Well if you are looking for: - baptismal outfits - christening gowns (including the traditional long ones), and outfits for boys - formal wear for young girls or boys (for flower girl or confirmation or other such events) Well..... LOOK NO FURTHER!! This place is great! So much selection, and the staff and owner couldn't have been more helpful! My niece lives out of Toronto, so they let me take pictures and send to her, and then we discussed it on the phone and we made the choice over which one we wanted. This is a small family run business but they have been on the Danforth for a long time. That speaks for itself.... and frankly based on the service I had today, they'll be there for much longer! So if this is the type of clothing that you are looking for - head on over -- you won't be disappointed!! Outfits were available in every price range - so no matter what your needs and budget, you'll find something here! (BTW - some other lady was in there -- and like me, noticed their new sign and went in and found exactly what she was looking for). These folks are few and far between -- so to have a shop where you could see the goods, match shoes and socks etc to it --- wonderful!

They publish wrong and misleading information online and don't take responsibility to do anything about it once you receive your product. I bought a stroller trusting the weight limit on their website and when I received it, the box clearly indicated a much lower max weight limit. They did not accept my return request because they say they have a no return policy for baby gears that is indicated absolutely NOWHERE on their website! Do yourself a favour and never waste your money buying anything from this business!!
