I liked getting some used clothing of brand names for less, like Hatley and Roots. There may be some good finds hidden but there are also a lot of clothes that look outdated. I have also purchased new stuff for my kid, like hair bands, stockings, hair elastic, bracelet, and ear muffs. Unlike other preloved stores, this one does not have a rewards program for more purchases. Their new clothing is usually like almost $60 for one dress for a toddler. However, there may be new staff here that don't feel as welcome when I walk in. Their preloved stuff is sometimes overpriced. And my first consignment try was a disappointment. Instead of telling me the requirements of what they accept, they had me sign a paper with my details and drop off - when I asked for details on the rules they have, the woman told me it was same as that sheet of paper. They had me hopeful that my kid's outgrown clothes will sell. They rejected the item and I had to schedule another trip in to pick it up. It would have been easier if I knew the first time. They don't seem to greet visitors to the store or ask to be helpful anymore like they used to.

That portion of the experience was good (although the item was $118, and you can buy the same product from Buy Buy Baby for $90...so definitely overpriced). However, the actual experience of trying to spend the $118 since then has been so aggravating. They have one really nice saleslady, and one who absolutely makes every experience awful. The woman who sucks is the brunette Caucasian girl. I was the only person in the store and she didn't even help me at all. The other girl, of darker complexion, was way better once she came off break, but I was already too aggravated to want to buy anything. This has happened THREE TIMES NOW. I sort of want to ask them when the white girl works so I can just avoid her altogether. Besides being overpriced, I've seen a number of pieces of clothing from nightwear to baby wear that has stains on it. I hadn't ever been in before and was the only customer in the store. What drew me in was the mid-season sale advertised in the window. I tried on a dress that looked gorgeous on the hanger, but just wasn't quite right. The staff paid no attention to me in the dressing room. No questions about fit or if they could help find something different. I left without purchasing anything. Selection looked quite extensive and they carry some nice lines, but ZERO customer service.

The lady who helped us (who I can only assume was the owner) was the sweetest and kindest sales person I've ever met. She made great suggestions, was so friendly and really was so patient with my super cranky daughter that would not stop crying. She tried to cheer her up and even gave her a lollipop. She put together a whole outfit which was all reasonably priced. You honestly can't pay for that kind of customer service these days so it was refreshing to see. So much is only available on the web. Well if you are looking for: - baptismal outfits - christening gowns (including the traditional long ones), and outfits for boys - formal wear for young girls or boys (for flower girl or confirmation or other such events) Well..... My niece lives out of Toronto, so they let me take pictures and send to her, and then we discussed it on the phone and we made the choice over which one we wanted.
