It is located in the downtown Carthage, MO area along Route 66. It is a small specialty dog shop. I have a big dog and so I was hoping as the name implied, it had items for big dogs. However, that was not true sadly. They do have many toys and treats for dogs of all sizes. The owner is super nice and was very welcoming to my dog and I. I bought a few items for my dog, including dog beer! It was nice that there was a pet friendly dog shop in downtown where I could take my dog and treat him a bit. Store is super clean and organized also!

Their 'excuse' started with: "We don't have a public bathroom" I pressed that I was about to have an accident and needed a restroom, and that I was a paying customer, not 'the public'. Their response? "Our bathrooms are not ADA compliant". As IF I needed ADA compliance, I certainly was not in a wheelchair or other needs for access. In fact, I was looking right at their bathroom as this conversation transpired. If you aren't going to allow bathroom use to your customer, I won't spend my money there. It's just this thing called customer service Went thru this in Tucson, with all the drug addicts and homeless. Tucson started securing bathrooms. Kind of ridiculous here if you ask me. We had the opportunity to visit Becky's Aquarium Works when we were in Joplin visiting a friend. I recently got into keeping saltwater fish and thought we would stop by since we were in the area. It's a small shop, but it has so much! Becky answered all my questions and taught me about many different facets of saltwater aquariums, based off my own experience and knowledge, and helped me identify what my next steps are based on where my aquarium is currently. I took home a beautiful Royal Gramma, some filter media, and some frozen brine shrimp. I rearranged my rocks while I acclimated the new fish and now all the fish are loving the new setup and food. The prices there are competitive, but you can't beat the personalized help and knowledge! I will definitely be back!
