Cartland is a blast. They have been going since I was a kid. Now my 3 kids (14,12, and 11) love it. The go carts are newer and really perform well. There is also a slick track and bumper boats. Cartland is a fun time for kids and adventurous adults. It has a distinctive retro feel, like the old stops the Cape had decades ago. The go-cart track is the main feature and is better than most in the area, and they even have a slip n slide go-cart track where you can practice your donuts! A large bumper boat pool with ability to shoot water at others. A few batting cages round out the attraction. Seems like there might be other features that they're working on. Staff is exceptional and the whole experience is Inexpensive and well worth the stop before you head over the bridge. read more

This place is fun. They have water ballon fights and water bumper cars and go karts. Is it old? Sure. But ya know what it works and it's fun. My 4 kids 14yr-2yr all had SO much fun. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for some old fashioned old country fun. PS- the bridge going to the ice cream parlor (on the way to mini golf) is the best place to sit a relax out of the sun. So beautiful watching the water life come down stream. read more

Today is my niece's thirteenth birthday so we decided to hit up a go kart track since we love to be competitive with one another. Since the go kart track in Bourne closed down we decided to try this track for the first time and we were dissapointed. The overall condition of this establishment is poor. The buildings are worn down, every item they run here is outdated and the go karts here are the worst I have seen in a long time. The only good kart here was the yellow kart but all the others were too slow or pieced together rather than being properly maintained. On top of that the prices are pretty expensive for the quality of the experience and we ended up spending $50 for two "unlimited kart passes." The one thing I do have to say is that the staff here is incredibly polite. Since the staff was so great here I thought about giving this place two stars, but the rest of the flaws were just to glaring. In the end, my niece had a blast but we will look for another go kart track in the future. read more

Good old fashion place to enjoy fun times! Looking for a good time for short money, stop & buy the all day pass. All the other "terrible" reviews are from years ago are no longer valid. We came as soon as they opened in morning; drove around the track for a bit and then left to go to the beach for a couple hours and we returned (with a few more kids) to have a quick bite and ice cream and went back to the track. Kids loved how long they can ride! Mini golf, bumper boats with water squirters, slick track and of course the go kart track. Upgraded their bumper boats and go karts this year too. I read the negative reviews from years ago, it no longer applies, worth a stop! Years ago there were a few "bad apples" working here, but they are long gone and the staff is friendly and helpful. We're looking into booking a birthday party for my 8 yr. old; he can't wait to see his name on the sign! All the kids had fun; try it out! read more

While the place doesn't look like much coming in, if you want to drive go karts. This is the place! Good carts and the longest rides I've ever seen. Tons of fun. Same for the bumper boats. Don't waste your time or money or your time. I came to this place almost 35 years ago and it was smaller, safer and fun. But now it's a DUMP; almost everything it broken and not enough staff to man the rides and what is working is a sketchy and borderline dangerous. Batting cages ALL out of service; video games ALL out of service; Bumper Boats NO attendant to let anyone on even though there were two at the go carts. There also a few very scary incidents where a driver smashed into me, my girlfriends son and two other boys. He was friend with two of the employees because instead of warning him, telling to stop or getting him off the track they laughed and let him keep riding, apparently for free. Come to find out he was drunk! My girlfriend overheard him say "...I shouldn't have had that last drink, I'm wasted" This was after we complained to the "manager" who was defensive when me and another parent complained to him. And guess what; they let him back on the track once we and the other parent decided to leave! A drunk, young adult on go-karts with young kids! Are you kidding me?!? My girlfriend and her son then tried to use the bathroom but they couldn't because it was disgusting. He couldn't even wash his hands because here was a mirror in the sink and she just walked out. For those who gave this place anything but 1-star; that's total and unmitigated BS! They are either friends or relatives of someone who works there and they should be ashamed for giving it a rating above 1-star. I almost never give such a terrible rating nor do I take this much time and effort to write a review but frankly this place should be shut down! It's a danger to any kid, or adult for that matter. I visit Massachusetts every year and my relatives take me here. I would have to say though that the only good and fun things there are the go kart track and the slick go kart track. The bumper boats are also fun, but the water and boats look dirty and run down. On the bumper boats, my cousins boat ran out of batteries and had to get pulled to shore. Also, the mini golf isn't worth it at all. The holes look run down and the balls, clubs, and holes are dirty. The staff is average, but nothing too special about them. So if you're coming here, just go for the go karts. (I would recommend the all day pass because the line is usually short and you'll be cought up with your money just a few rides in. (By the way, only older kids and adults can ride the slick track, the height requirement is 54".) (Also, as I said before, the water in the bumper boats is dirty and makes you smell. Take a shower after!) Overall 3 stars, because the go karts and slick track is great read more

All the other "terrible" reviews are absolutely correct. We are from out of town and decided to try out a slew of go-kart tracks, we figured they would be awesome, especially naming the place Cart Land. Go-karts were in rough shape, ride attendant hated his job, track was bumpy and uncomfortable, the batting cage looked junky, the bumper boats looked scary and dirty, we didn't even bother. Overall, don't take your family here. I'm sure this place was great back in the day, but now, it just needs to be majorly renovated. Tourists beware. read more

What a joke. Don't even bother ordering ice cream here. They don't know how to make any of the items on their menu, and they laugh when they hand you your order because they know it's wrong. I ordered a milkshake and it's literally milk that they blended with nothing else in it. read more

Very disappointing! Spent $42 for my family of 4 to go on the bumper boats for less than 5 minutes and my son and his dad to go on the go carts for maybe 4 laps! This was at 7:30 at night on a Thursday! No lines, in fact, nobody but us were there! He sat there doing absolutely nothing so why the rush to get us out?! Definitely will not be returning! We are new to the area and will certainly be finding a better more reasonably priced place to have a family night! $42 for less than 10 mins!! Absolutely ridiculous!!! read more

It is run down, half the vehicles are out of order, unorganized, It was fun 25 years ago, but now it looks unsafe. anyone that says this is a nice place must either be an employee or has not been there in decades. Super Fun!!!!! Nice management. Other than than cafe, very accommodating to the kids. Even gave free balloons. Would not however, accommodate my daughter's severe food allergies and were quite nasty! If we skipped out on trying to order lunch it would have been a perfect day. read more

I've been coming to Wareham every single year of my life, and Cartland is a staple in my childhood. Been there tons of times and had a blast every single time. Best carts I've ever been on, maybe I think their the best because they were the first go-carts I've ever been on, but thats besides the point. They have great water cars too. Thats the only way I can describe them. They are these water boats/cars that have a button you can squirt your friends with. My brother always soaked me and I could barely get him wet. Good times. They also have a fast track for teens/adults who are experienced at go-carts and that's even more of a rush. Also batting cages if you feel like hitting the ball around and junk food when you need it the most. Perfect in the summertime. Its not the cleanest place, but then again the slightly dirty places seem to always be the best. I'll be back this summer, without a doubt. read more

Fastest go carts around hands down!!! The grounds of Cartland leave a lot to be desired everything looks run down. It was hard to get a straight answer from the girl at the window and the older men "the managers" didn't seem to really care about who was doing what! Definitely a fun experience on go carts. They do have a variety of fun things; bumper boats (but the water was filthy and green) boxing robots which were cool my 7&6 yo boxed each other ( the fenced in area that they match in was way too small and at one point my son bust through the gate while backing up lol) and the 3 young men who were working freaked out, they have two different go carts; stingers where smaller children can drive themselves, but they still need to be 48" and a batting cage that just recently got up and running again but they have no bats and only one pitching machine... they had some other things that looked like fun on the website but when you get there no one explains anything and it honestly looks like nothing works there except the go carts. Cartland I'm sure could be a very successful business if things could be spruced up a bit and add some great customer service. read more

Extremely run down. Owners are completely unorganized, and there's an issue with the "rides" daily. The ice cream shop (Chills & Thrills) connected is completely against boar of health. For example the previous years candy, that had been opened and thrown in the dumpster, was taken out and attempted to use again. I do not recommend this, many other more up to date and hygienic attractions in the area. read more
