The price is definitely right here...but the course is really only good for pretty young kids. Having said that, it was fun, and the golf moves fast since the holes are relatively easy. I highly recommend bug spray if you go - it was quite buggy even though it was sunny. The ice cream - not your typical bar, but hand scooped and the sundae's were great (and big). So, if you're going for a fun family adventure and are not looking for very serious mini golf, this is your spot. Don't skip the ice cream! And, I think there were only porta potties (unless I missed a restroom - so keep this in mind if it's important to you). read more

You can tell this is a newer mini golf course as everything was well maintained and the course ran through beautiful gardens. Me and my wife came here around 830pm not thinking many children and families would be playing but due to many of the mini golf courses in the area closing around 9 we were completely wrong. We had about 3 groups of 10 people plus in front of us and it took about an hour 15 to complete 18 holes. Course wasn't too complex with those typical course structures making it a thoughtful course but giving it 2 stars due to it being a well kept newer establishment. There are so many mini golf spots on Cape Cod. Most have bells, whistles, and lines. Blech. This spot is a hidden gem and fantastic. Nice music, space, and the golf is challenging for mini golf. Unlike many other mini golf courses on the Cape, which are novelty-focused (pirates with swords, hippos with diabetes, running water that smells of plague), Harbor Lights is back to basics. While this may not blow your socks with sandals off, modesty can be a virtue in the mini golf world. As a former champion of the miniature game myself, I hold sound course design in high regard. Perhaps the crowning element of this enterprise is the ice cream. Stocked with fan-favorite Giffords and hand-dipped cones, my squad has come here many times literally just for this purpose. For those with lactose intolerance, your primary option is to stay home and think about what you've done. And finally, what really puts the ball in my hole is their hours. Closing at 10 PM is a godsend on Cape Cod, where you're lucky to walk into any business legally after the sun sinks below the horizon. The course is fully lit, making it a stellar night time activity and perfect way to wrap up an adventurous day on the Cape. A quite interesting little short-putt course that's unique for its foresty plantings, quite unlike any other course we've played, especially on the Cape. The holes are *very* short and shoe-horned into a lot about the size of the average backyard, but they're fairly cleverly laid out. The course doesn't have a lot of resting spots or places to loiter so it's likely to be a bit annoying if it gets crowded, but we were there "off peak" so that's just a guess. (It's also very easy to lose balls in the tall grasses and plantings all over the place). There are water features running, with the unfortunately dyed-blue water, but the water does play a role on three holes (although the little "lake" hole wasn't working during our visit). There's also one multi-level hole. Otherwise you're playing caroms off rocks and small, subtle rises around the holes. They can be fun, although in many holes there seems to be only one way to approach a shot, and there are a few "magnet" zones (the spots where everybody's ball seems to end up no matter how they shoot it) on others. In general I'd give it only three stars for the putting, but the overall effect with the pleasant plantings and super friendly staff raise it up to a "very nice". No snack bar, small gravel parking lot, and it is very inconspicuous off Underpass Rd. There are some eateries nearby further down the road, though. $8 for adults, $7 for kids, no replay discount. Still a worth addition to the Cape mini-golf scene, particularly in this odd neck of the woods on the Mid-Cape on the Bay side. read more

Visited here with family on Labor Day weekend. We are locals, and wanted to do something with the kids... But really wanted to about the big tourist traps on Route 28. Found this place based on the tennis and we're not disappointed. Not as flashy as some of the big places on 28, but cute, charming, easily accessed and family friendly. Justin, the owner, was working behind the counter and was very kind and friendly... He seemed to delight in our children taking forever to choose the right colored ball! When we were done we finished up with ice cream and sat in the afternoon sun relaxing. Delightful place. We will be back. read more

FANTASTIC newly renovated course! OK, this place used to be totally ramshackle and dilapidated - now it's one of the best mini-golf courses I've played on the Cape! Hidden away in Brewster just off 6A. It's incredibly well-maintained and meticulously clean - (are you sick of ratty old 'greens' and putts that bounce along?? Not here! Smooth sailing.) And the course is GREAT - lots of challenging hills and valleys - the required 'volcano' hole at the top of a hill (all mini courses need this!) - and lots of good variety and angles to play and multiple levels - course gets progressively harder as you go. Many holes look deceptively easy with a large stone and a hill (like a Japanese garden!) - but then kick you in the pants when you shoot an ugly 4... watch out for hole 16! Also new landscaping with beach grasses and wildflowers and a boat/beach theme make it a virtual botanical garden - really beautiful. I spoke with the owner after 18 holes and complimented him on the course - he seemed proud and said yes, he built it for adults, not just kids! - the kids hit it around whatever the course is like, but the adults like a challenge. He said he plays with his daughter every night at closing - she holds the course record of 29! (including 7 holes-in-one...) Beat that! (I shot a good round at 38!). We also had a two-way tie after 18 holes in our group of 4, so the owner suggested we go play a 'sudden death' tiebreaker hole! He respects the game! A great all-around mini-golf experience, and not too expensive either - $8 (summer 2010). read more

Decided to go here because of the great reviews. It is a bit early in the season and we didn't check their hours before we got here. Being a monday early in the season we found a closed sign in the window. So we parked to figure out where we wanted to go next. All of a sudden there is a man outside the passanger window. It was the owner and as everyone else has said he is really friendly and willing to go out of his way to make his customers happy. He told us that if we wanted he would turn everything on and let us play. We took him up on his offer and had a great time. The place is very clean and well cared for. Each hole is unique and very in difficulty. Overall it is a nice place to play mini golf and the owner makes this place so much better than any other mini golf place i've ever been. read more

Certainly a hidden gem. It was a bit busy the evening we went but we're so glad we drove here. Some mini golf places are all about windmills and moving crocodiles but really don't give much challenge. This course doesn't have such things but it's beautifully landscaped and each green has rocks or slopes that really offer a good challenge. This place only takes cash, which is usually a deterrent for me since I barely carry any cash on me (I'd typically turn away rather than pay WAY more in fees at their ATM than the owner would pay on a single card transaction). But--the owner was extraordinarily friendly--and smiled--that I let this one go (thankfully I had enough cash on me). You can tell he takes pride in his place. Use the Yelp coupon to get a dollar off each ticket. That was another reason we stayed. read more

We loved this place. Definitely was an unexpected hidden gem that has that Brewster charm I've known and loved for 30 years! For as long as we've come to the cape we have never checked this place out, I am definitely glad we did. The course itself is t crazy elaborate like some others, but it is fun and challenging, they play great music, and the owner is extremely friendly. We usually head to cape escape but decided we would give this place a try. The price is much better here, and I as I mentioned, though this is a no frills place, we truly had an awesome time.
