They're also helpful if you don't know quite what you'd like, and are happy to spend time with making sure you're getting what you need. Unlike those other chain stores, this place also has a small gallery space; whilst I've never seen any art here I really like, I applaud them for using their space for supporting artists.

I've had to frequent the Warehouse Stationery branch in Henderson many times over the past couple of years, now that I have become a professional student. Buying stationery supplies, workbooks and seeking copying, printing and binding services have become second nature. I really like the Henderson branch in particular, because it's always really well stocked and well priced. The staff are knowledgeable about the stock on hand and are really efficient when it comes to your order, particularly within the copy centre. Warehouse stationery is always my first stop for my stationery requirements!

It was late night Thursday shopping, so I popped into the store with a large family portrait…read more(colour photo) - which had originally been professionally photographed, hot-pressed onto a board & framed,... way back in May 1981. I was hoping to have my photo scanned, printed & framed onto a faux canvas, based on their 16" x 20" sized option. Sam, the young Customer Service Rep, offered very attentive & professional assistance. He treated my photo & frame with absolute care, & made every effort to find the best possible solution. He took photos of the portrait as one option, then scanned the photo (in halves, due to it's size) as a secondary option. He then gave me the opportunity to choose which option was my preferred. I settled with the scanned option, as it was as per the original, & captured the colours & angles perfectly. Now it was time to work their magic...with the advanced skills & knowledge of Jonathon, the store's 'Photoshop Extraordinaire' - who has also provided exceptional service & much appreciated outcomes for several of my other photos in the past (also onto 16" x 20" faux canvas), including a Wedding Photo for a friend - who cried tears of joy on opening her present. Jonathon was able to blend the scanned halves of the image together, very quickly, seamlessly & professionally, to create a fantastic result & the perfect Father's Day Gift. Because business was flowing steadily, Sam & Jonathon were happy to complete the task, while I waited - which was an absolute unexpected bonus! Having very carefully removed the photo from it's original frame, Sam even gave the original portrait's glass a really good clean - unasked, before refitting the photo into it's frame again. Couldn't have asked for better service! I will definitely be back, with more photos. Sensational Service is very much appreciated, but rarely consistent, however Warehouse Stationery has proved the exception! Their staff are always very helpful, & keen to provide great solutions & outcomes. Keep it up.

The day later there was a message left on my phone, so on Sat. I made the trip from Pukekohe to Howick only to find the shop closed and no explanation why ,even though the web site still said they were open. The girls in the shop next door said that several people had been enquiring but they had no idea why the shop was closed. Please keep your web-site updated and leave a message on the door. If they don't have what you're looking for, then they'll order it for you. Their website is really useful too if you want to take a look at what they have before visiting. It also has some artist tips for those determined to master the talent. Tucked away in the Meadowlands Shopping Centre, you may be travelling out of your way to get there (unless you're a local), but I doubt it will disappoint.

But in their defence I think their products or more aimed at kids and I know my sister gets lots of stuff from here for her classroom (she is a teacher). The thing I do like about Smiggle is how colourful the stores are, and how everything is colour coordinated. If I didn't get my stationery for free I would probably get more stuff from here, but I do always come and have a look for ideas for presents for my cousins and they always seem to like the stuff from here.

I could spend hours in there talking to them and I totally trust them with the art that we've bought from all over the world. I highly recommend. Also note, they're open every day. Quite often framing is a weekend job, and I love that you can pop in on a Sunday. I did take one star off because they are expensive, and I don't know if that's fair because I'd rather pay them than some chain... Tip: they sell lots of great NZ prints. If you're a tourist, I highly recommend for your piece of Kiwiana to take home.

It was several hundred dollars and yes, the frame was lovely and mounting fine, but there was a few details that made me question the high price. The service is very friendly and helpful and closer to four stars for that. They have gone out of their way not only for us but also a friend whom recently went in (upon our recommendation) who had a large print block mounted. Woodards Framing Gallery actually recommended to her to go somewhere else ( I can't remember the name, a place in Henderson), for this particular job, which I think was very professional of them as it is losing a sale and honest. My friend had a cranky toddler with her and decided to just have it done here anyway, unfortunately the print had lines all the way through it when she picked it up, she was ok about it but it seems a shame really.
