Stopped into B&H office furniture store and was greeted promptly by a friendly staff. Told them what I was looking for and they were very happy to help assist me by showing me all of my options. Very well trained staff I would like to mention. Every question I asked they had and answer for or researched to find out for me. They were very patient with me while I was making decisions and weighing all my options. It turned into a very pleasurable experience. Expected it to be a little stressful, but they made it fun. Even picked up a few new items for the house. The prices were very competitive if not cheaper than all other big box stores I had looked at. Got a chance meet the new owner of the business Ryan. From my understanding from our conversation it has been a family business for a long time and he is now in charge. He was a really nice man. Thanked us several times for shopping at his store. Well I think your family would be proud of you. I think that this will and can be a great local business for many more years to come. While we had a good experience with the sales person who initially assisted us in the purchase of…read moretwo office chairs, it was downhill from there. I wanted to purchase the pre-assembled chair because far too many times, I've gotten home with one to assemble + there have been issues. But they wouldn't let me purchase that chair. We assembled one of the chairs and from the start, it was popping, tilting left/right and I wasn't able to adjust the tension. Today was the soonest my husband (working in a different location) was able to drive up, take it apart and reassemble just to make sure we didn't miss something. Discovered the tension knob does nothing, so when you rock you go waaaayy back and you can't adjust it. The base is off and the chair tilts left and right. Despite being told that we had 30 days to return the chairs, and today's the 20th day, read the fine print and look for signage that supposedly exists in the store. With furniture you assemble, you have to disassemble it, put in original packaging and return within FOURTEEN days! Otherwise, you have to contact the manufacturer. We spent close to $900 and were planning to return for a standing desk. We won't now.

this store is fantastic. it has the latest and largest selection of educational materials and…read moresupplies in nw illinois. the store is staffed with helpful teachers who are ready to assist anyu person with any question being it a teacher, parent or student. their catalog is at letslearn.com and you can order ahead of time and pick it up at the store with paying any freight, like i just did. it looks like they sell everything except the kids for the classroom and home. if you need it they got it, or will find it for you.
