The mechanics/staff at Carvers are incredible. Extremely professional, treat you like family, and most of all are 100% honest. They don't try to upsell you, or scare you into services you don't need. Was having a horrific day with my front tire, which I thought was going to cost me an arm and a leg to get repaired/replaced. Turns out all I needed was a valve stem. Woke up on Saturday with a flat tire on my SUV. I could see the nail sticking right out of it. I have run-flats, so I was able to drive around, unfortunately Carver's garage was closed on Saturdays. Went to another hope and had a horrible experience. After waiting around for 30 minutes, was told that I needed a new tire and that my current tire was "unfixable". They still proceeded to charge for the service. Felt a bit taken advantage off and decided to just leave my car as is until Monday. On Monday morning went to Carver's Garage. This was my second time here for a tire puncture. Same as previously, they took me in immediately and plugged my tire in 5 minutes, no questions asked! I decided to leave my car with them for an inspection that was long overdue. They called me when the car was ready. The inspection price was a bit higher than I am used to paying at my regular mechanic, but it was worth it for the convenience. Everyone was very polite, masks were worn and overall was a very pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend! read more

These guys are great. My family has been going Carvers garage for 20+ years since it was run by George Carver the founder, and we've always been treated fairly. They kept a 20 year old Toyota Corolla still running, a 2004 Hyundai Elantra, couple of Tauruses, chevy trailblazer, and suburban all up to date with maintenance for reasonable prices. These guys don't overcharge for service, don't charge for services without checking with you, don't mess up (in the 20 years we've been going to them, the mistakes, few and far between, were fixed immediately without charge), and are a pleasure doing business with. Straightforward, honest mechanics aren't hard to come by in Richboro thanks to Carvers garage. I'd take a look at the review history of the one star commenters. I don't normally review but I thought it was necessary in this case to paint an honest picture for people new to the area who need a mechanic. read more
