I was charged for another x-ray. Then I was scheduled for recurring PT. I went to two visits and had to pay $203 for the first and $187 for the second. I quit going due to the cost. Then a month later I get a bill for over $600 for the first PT visit. How can a patient know what to expect? It is unreasonable to be so off in their estimated cost. They had my insurance so I'm stunned they can't get the estimate even close.

Prior to seeing Dr Jeremy Miles I had seen two other doctors who were afraid to remove the cyst because it was located on an artery. This site does a good job of keeping up with all of the care you have had. I messaged through the portal that I needed to see my Dr and they got me in in 2 days time. It was quick and easy. I them received follow up texts and emails for verification purposes. When I arrived for my appt, check in was quick. They collected my co-pay and I was called back within 15 min. Everyone was friendly and professional. In the past, I have also done PT at this location. No complaints about that either. Just ask questions --- be sure you understand the process.

I screamed bloody murder to let me out the 1st time so they adjust the foam airplane earplugs and put hard flat plastic panels on each ear. They slid me in again and again I was screaming screaming let me out. I was pulling up my head and body which I strained trying to get out. It was unbearable. The highest level sound a human can stand before it gets unbearable is 120 decibels and I swear mine was higher. My head was rattling, I couldn't hear my voice in the normal way when I was talking. All the muscles and bones were strained to the max. I have really loved EmergeOrtho but I am so traumatized I dont even want to go to the good machine which I had prior, at another of their locations, until the trauma and anxiety wear off. I ended up in an Urgent Care Center about thirty minutes later. My neck, head, shoulders, even abdomen were feeling like there had been stressed and strained. Also I was worried about my ears. At WakeMed Urgent Care they found no perforations in my ears. They treated my neck and sent me with a Rx for muscle Relaxers plus a strong lidocaine gel. I cancelled the appt I let them to go to the other location and backed out of that one. Too traumatized. My theory: the MRI Machine was from the 60's and the two people in there were clueless. To be fair and just, those two technicians should have to experience what I did. I want to know some things: why did the phone operator tell me I could only get an MRI on a Sunday? Bribery, side hustle ? I want to know the make and model of that machine, and when it should have been retired. I want the names of the technicians. And a good attorney. All names of attorneys are welcome. Only honest will be considered.

As a direct & proximate result of the shoulder operation performed by Dr. William M. Isbell, I've…read moreendured Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (neurological pain syndrome) since 2005. Dr. Isbell additionally sewed my shoulder capsule too tightly, rendering expressly limited range of motion & necessitating a 2nd shoulder reconstruction. A Duke shoulder specialist was able to repair the structural damage, but no surgery could alleviate the incurable RSD symptoms which have plagued me EVERY MINUTE of EVERY DAY since Dr. Isbell operated on my shoulder. I suffer mercilessly, but I'm not the only one. RSD has adversely impacted all in my family and any & all relationships I've had, friendships or otherwise. It has stripped my finances, decimated my livelihood & squandered my future. I cannot stress enough the extreme physical, financial & mental toll caused by this merciless illness & the adverse impact it has had upon my family.

Their clinic is like a combination of The Mayo Clinic and "Cheers": the expertise is unquestionable and the ambiance is friendly, welcoming and cheerful. I went to them on the recommendation of a PT friend. My hip had been bothering me for about a year, and there were also episodes of pain down my leg and in my lower back. I could not sleep, had pain when walking and getting up/down, and did not stand up straight. My GP said I had bursitis of the hip and he could give me a shot to manage it if the PT did not work out. Right off the bat, Andy began to diagnose and track the pain origins, levels, and progressions. And no, it was not "bursitis of the hip." It had to do with a variety of muscle, nerve and tendon issues. He, and then Steven, explained it all to me clearly, answered all my questions, showed me anatomy pics, and then moved to explain what I/we needed to do to correct the issues. And, they were very patient in helping me understand it all. Between the on-site sessions and the homework exercises, it didn't take very long for my issues to subside. At this point, I just need to keep doing the exercises to build my core and keep myself "stretched out." I am walking without pain, with good posture and a good gait! Kind of unbelievable. And, if I need/want a refresher, check-in, they are always available for a text or visit or both. Andy and Steven have my gratitude and highest recommendation.
