This place is amazing. HUGE walk in humidor. Raul and Daniel are always super nice. Looks fun to hang on the patio and smoke a stogey, but I do prefer to site on my deck, look at the ocean and have a Ketel One Dry martini with my Hellcat 60. read more

So I have been going to Casa Carreras Cigar shop for the past couple of years but this is the 1st review I have done for them so here goes... They open and close as posted but if I am a few minutes early, they go ahead and open up for me... OUTSTANDING! for a long time I would go in there and describe what I was in the mood for look for just the right Cigar. A couple of months ago I found my Favorite Cigar, the "Jaime Garcia Reserva Especial" of the "My Father Collection". Myself and my Brother are both Cigar Smokers so I bought him a box for the Hollidays.... He Loved them. Anyway back to the review, they are very knowledgeable, great customer service.... 5 Stars all around... Good job guys!!! read more

I look for a good cigar shop/lounge everywhere I go. This ranks up there in the top 3 for me and #1 in SOCAL. The service was exceptional and the selection was awesome. I smoked the house favorite and went back for a handful to take back to MD. I will definitely go back. Whale read more

For cigar selection: A+ For the potential of their patio: A+ For if they can actually meet the potential this place has, 50/50. Same great selection they had in the old Dana point location, but the place feels a bit like a frat house right now. Dirty seat cushions, unfinished interior, not a super welcoming aesthetic, but it is the only semi-comfortable place to enjoy a cigar in San Clemente. read more

Wanna have a nice relaxing day near the beach, with a nice cigar. Well you're in luck Casa Carreras Cigar shop you can do both. The shop is located at the Historic City Yard in San Clemente, with the beach right down the street. Also they have a wide selection of cigars to choose from. Forgot to mention they have a nice patio to enjoy your cigar. With two TV's to watch sports or listen to some soothing music. I rate them 5 stars with nothing but good VIBES read more

THIS PLACE IS GREAT! I was looking for a cigar today and found this place online. They have a very large patio with comfortable seating and the patio is covered! The humidor had a MASSIVE selection (much larger than I'm used too) and the staff was super helpful and helped me pick out a cigar I'd never smoked before (it was perfect). I will have to come back here with my friends to hang out and relax. read more

My husband and I were visiting San Clemente and checked out this cigar shop. It's a really cool shop with outdoor seating which is nice for the tagalong's that don't smoke. They are officially opening next month with new furniture, probably new paint and serving beer and wine . A lot of great, fine cigars at the shop . We were greeted by Galen who was very informative and extremely friendly. We told him we would like to come back for the grand opening. Even the guys that were smoking in front asked us to come back and smoke with them again. I wish the shop good luck and looking forward to coming down to see them again . Instead of greeting us or offering assistance when he finally came out, the guy behind the counter immediately spoke to us in a condescending, rude tone, like we were children who had done something wrong. There was absolutely no reason for his attitude. We were simply trying to shop, and instead we were treated with disrespect from the moment he approached us. Customer service should never make people feel belittled or unwelcome, especially when they were left without any help to begin with. If you value being treated with basic courtesy and respect, I would recommend taking your business elsewhere. My mom and I will definitely never be back.
