I like coming here as it is usually quiet, so you can get some work done if needed... & the members I've crossed paths with have been good, kind, and decent people. That said, the camaraderie of the lounge is a plus. They also have a good Selection of sticks to choose from, and the place is well lit. I literally cannot compliment this establishment enough. Every time I make a trip down to Tobacco Barn I leave with more stuff (and knowledge) than I intended to. I've never had a bad experience, faulty product, or sub-par smoke. The main gentleman I deal with (I forgot your name), the tall guy who likes Pho haha, is just soo damn knowledgeable and friendly. I go here from time to time to check out new and used Pipes, and Pipe Tobacco. They always have a Dunhill Pipe or Two in the Estate case, and their new inventory is always fresh with new arrivals. You can find everything from a $30 Rossi, to a $250 Peterson, to a $400 Root Briar Dunhill. I left today with a Block Meerschaum EASILY worth $200+ for $100 flat with the case! I don't understand how they make money here, their prices seem unreal. My singular complaint is the Pipe Tobacco selection: It's basically House Blends, or Cornell and Diehl, that's about it minus 5-8 tins of random stuff. To be fair, this is abs a Cigar Favoring business when it comes to selection, but their house blends of Pipe Tobacco are NUMEROUS to say the least, they offer something for everyone. I wish I had more excuses to make the drive, Tobacco Barn is here to stay! read more

I made the drive out here from Temecula and this spot is solid. This place has an excellent selection to choose from. I was primarily looking for Foundation Cigars and this place has a great selection from Foundation. I was hoping they had the Olmec here and they did! You have to spend a minimum of $30 to smoke here which is no big deal. The lounge area is excellent. Definitely worth the drive and will be telling the guys back at home about this place. I am not a cigar smoker but I am a cigar box user. They work well for my crafts. The people are chill and it's always a chance find. Some weeks I can find ten, this time only one, but it was very special. Large like none I'd seen before. I recently sold my car so to get to the Tobacco Barn I have to hire a driver or use Lyft. So last time I took my little old ladies' shopping cart and shopped the whole row on foot. Tobacco Barn, Mexican Deli, Pet smart, pier 1, Staples, Ralph's and even walked across the street to Sprouts. My cart was full and I was tired. So took a Lyft home (I never use Uber) put my stuff away, ate my tacos and took a lil nap. A successful day! read more

Maybe the worst lounge I've been to. I'm not sure if you need to be a regular in order for the employees to greet you but thats what it seems like especially when a regular walks in 2 minutes after and the employee all of a sudden knows how to speak. Im not sure if I screwed his wife or something, I mean why else would a grown man act like this? Very feminine trait. And to makes it worse the price at check out don't match the price they advertise on their boxes. Which makes sense why they don't tell you what your total is at checkout and just say, "ready when you are", and dont offer you a receipt. EXTREMELY shady. When I got my receipt (after requesting), I check to see what I was charged and of course the AF that was suppose to 11.99 was actually 15.99 and the Tatujue that was suppose to be 10.99 ended up being 13.99, BEFORE taxes. This place is horseshit, there are way better places with respectful employees and honest prices ...the employee that was working was the female with the bald head and a beard. Great place, it is a private membership lounge. Asked the guy can I pay extra to use the lounge? Told me if I spend $20 or more on a cigar I can use it for the day. That is a killer deal considering most cigars cost in that range. If you want to know if a cigar shop is legit, one of the main indicators is if they sell Padron cigars. They had a great selection of Padron cigars and a lot of other good brands. The lounge was huge, I would love to go one day to watch NFL games there. I travel a bit for work and try and hit cigar stores when I do. It allows me to see what other people in different parts of the country are smoking. During these travels I've been fortunate to meet some of the nicest and helpful people smoking cigars. Tobacco Barn is just a bit different in my experience. The store is divided into two parts humidor and lounge, to do this they take up two storefronts in a strip mall. The staff is very helpful in helping you identify cigars that fit your palette and pocketbook. Josh is the GM and has a wide breadth of knowledge of what he stocks, which is extensive. The lounge is a membership type but you can get access by buying at least two cigars. It is well appointed with barrel chairs a couch and a half dozen or so tables and chairs. The lounge has a vending machine for sodas or water and a pod coffee maker. There's the normal big screen TVs and a giant projector screen. Off to one side there's a quiet room room with plenty of seating if you want to get some work done without the distractions of the TV. They host special events on a regular basis including a live Jazz band on the 1st Friday of the month. The band is a group of professionals that play great tunes. If your in the area you owe it to yourself to stop by and check it out. read more

And never more so than when I am brandishing a great big cigar and squiring the Beautiful Carin around on my arm...the testosterone is practically exploding from my every pore! The shop itself is certainly nice enough...a decent selection of cigars (some of which I hadn't seen around here previously...nice touch) and all of the accouterments to help you enjoy those tumescent delights! And the service from Tommy and the rest of the gang is just first rate! But the real charm of Tobacco Barn is the back room...and anywhere with a back room is already at four stars...with a bullet! It's a private back room...well, private to anyone who pays the monthly fee to be able to use the back room...or the daily fee...or who buys enough cigars for them to waive the daily fee...OK, I guess it's not all that private. Still...it's pretty quiet back there...on one side of the back room there are large, comfortable easy chairs and sofas so you can relax and have a conversation with your cigar buddies...or just contemplate the engorged and glowing red end of your cigar, and expel white smoke from time to time...if that's your thing. They even have a wall or two full of cigar lockers (so I can keep my extra 4-500 cigars stashed someplace handy)...nice touch! On the other side of the room, big TV's, a billiard table, a fridge and...game tables! For games...manly games...card games, dice games, dominoes...games! I show up there and everyone is my friend...even guys that I have never met are my friends! It's the bro code writ large...cemented by a mutual love for cigars...and very egalitarian! There is no pretense in the back room at Tobacco Barn...no cliques and no puffery...no bitchiness...from CEO's to fresh faced interns, everyone is on the same level (well, except for the size of their cigars) and everybody talks to everybody...and no one ever "overshares" about personal crap (as manly guys, we don't really want to know). Drop by Tobacco Barn anytime and if you happen to make your way to the back room, you might find me relaxing and chatting with my buddies over a good cigar! Truly one of orange county's gems. If you area cigar or pipe smoker or just want to have a different cultural experience, get over there. It's a great store with tons of selection, great service, friendly people, a lounge with big screens, beverages, and wonderfully comfortable furniture. They have a mini golf area, big movie screen, multiple LCD screens, pool table, and a vast selection of cigars. I stopped in to visit Tobacco Barn today after hearing about it for years. I'd been meaning to check it out sooner, but it's kind of a trek from where I live in Long Beach. So nice to find a tobacconist that still cares about us pipe smokers. Ever since the 1990s it's been all about cigars in most places. I got nothin' against cigars. I like a good one now and then. But it's sure great to find a place where pipes and pipe tobacco are more than a mere afterthought. Tobacco Barn is such a place. I got fantastic, friendly customer service from Tom. I bought a Zippo butane pipe insert which Tom filled with fuel and adjusted the flame for me. Then he steered me toward one of their house blend pipe tobaccos when I told him I like to smoke straight Virginia. Just a super nice and helpful guy. Good selection of pipe tobacco tins in the shelves by the front door. I saw a few tins there that I haven't seen anywhere else except online. At decent prices too. The Tobacco Barn used to be my once a week hang out. I took a "leave of absence" for about a year and just started going there again. I had forgotten just how much I liked it there and what a terrific place it is to go to. A few improvements have sen made since I was last there. They still have my favorite Rocky Patel cigars too. There's also still a lot of the same people hanging out there and some new ones too. I like the "man-cave" feel of the lounge and everyone there is always friendly.
