The London chapter of MoMonday's has the highest turnout of most of the events in North America. Cool eh? Theres a 2 hour window before the event where you can network with other attendees. There is a bar which is nice if you need something to take the edge off. The thing I find about MoMonday's is that a lot of people are very open to talking. I'm kind of shy and I was still able to meet a lot of people my first time. Heck, I even found a fellow Yelper! When the show begins, there are 3 speakers, a halftime game show and some more time to network, and 3 more speakers. The speakers prepare 10 minute long stories about their lives. Whether it is combating mental illness, dealing with a sick family member or a serious accident or death, to just doing something they love, every story is different and meant to open your mind to realizing the potential out there in the world. I'm at a time in my life where I'm not sure where I'm headed exactly but I need to start taking charge in order to be the person I would like to be. This is the perfect event if you are looking for a pick me up, some inspiration, or just a way to network with new people.

Luckily someone from the kitchen called me to make sure the menu was correct which it was not. Also Rich double booked us for a Sunday and then bumped us to Saturday 2 weeks before our event and really didn't care that he did so. Luckily we got him to at least take $100 of the room rental but still charged us $70. As far as the bartenders go they were great. Helpful and nice to us and our guests but Rich is horrible. He was rude to our guests and our parents. Never again will I have an event at the Harborcreek Moose or recommend that place for anything. Rich has no business being in any type of service industry. I'm only giving this place a 3 rating because of their bartenders and their professionalism. Otherwise this place would wholeheartedly get a 1 from me.

Generally one bartender takes care of a large bar and all patrons, which leads to a long slow line that has to form in a particular way or the regulars will cut ahead of you as you wait. The drinks are fine, not strong and there is frequently one on special each day. The waitresses won't take drink orders if you're at a table. Getting water is even a challenge and a you will hear a complaint if you ask the server. Table service isn't quick but the food is good. As an out of town, often in town visitor I want to love it like I do my home lodge, but it's just not very welcoming. They have a nice sized outside area with a run down bocci court and frequent live music in the summer months. The building is modern and open with what looks like an area that could be used as a venue for events. A large parking lot is also available on site.

Especially beer with so many craft beers locally available. Think hard about using this venue. If I was a member I would not be happy. Very expensive to join
