Oh what a treat! Possibly the ugliest restaurant I have visited in Madrid. It was recommended by a foodie friend for the best homemade handmade authentic pasta. About 10 items in the menu. The BEST pasta in town. What a treat. read more

Our server was good and helped gove some recommendations. There was a BOGO drink special on spritz, so we started with that and the gnocco fritto, which were like little puffed pita bread. There were many tables set in the salon; you could also choose one of the outdoor tables, which I imagine to be a good option for a cool spring or fall day. The menu was in Italian which made it a bit hard to choose from. I only had one dish of ravioli which was just fine. However, I imagine you can get something like that in any other average Italian place anywhere. To sum up, the service, although not bad, could certainly be more friendly, helpful, and professional.

The location is heavily decorated (maybe too much?) with Italian themed art decor and other items. The interior of the restaurant has lots of tables but they are separated into smaller segments for better privacy and less noise. Service was top notch - prompt, friendly and flexible as we fitted in our toddler into the table too. Food was fresh and came rapidly. The menu is broad. There is a wide range of dishes, including many kinds of pasta and a broad range of Neopolitan style pizzas with a delicious thin crust. The actual food quality was uniformly great. All our dishes were delicious. My pizza was great. One of my wife's all-time favourite Italian dishes (Provola alla Pizzaiola - aka Cheese Soup) was available here. It is the first time we have found it outside Italy, and it was just as good as she remembered. I would strongly recommend this restaurant. We ended up here because I'd done advance planning and this was the Italian place I thought would be best, and neither of us were disappointed.

The food was incredible and because we are new to reading Spanish menu, my friend accidentally ordered something unexpectedly.
