I had called to purchase a new policy and to add my granddaughter as a new driver. Spoke to Jose and during our conversation, he never once mentioned the extra $160.00+ fee that is charged by the agency themselves. They call it, "Policy or Service Fee Consent" but they, Jose never mentioned these fees. They charge it separately from the policy itself. It wasn't until I went to sign the paperwork, I seen the hidden fee, and I specifically typed on the signature line, "LET'S DISCUSS THESE FEES". I did not receive a call from anyone at Superior. and it was already after closing. I called the next day and spoke to a woman and told her I wanted to cancel my policy because these extra fees that were never discussed, she stated in a raised voice, "you're not getting that back and that you signed the paperwork approving it". So, I guess when the electronic signature crap they send you automatically signs your name even though it gives you a choice to type what you want, it converts it to a signature. My paperwork shows exactly what I typed and SIGNED. They at Superior are saying that I SIGNED IT AND AGREED TO IT... THAT'S A LIE. I am filing a complaint with the NC Insurance Commissioner of their shady business doings. I have never had an Insurance Agency bill me a service fee on top of what I am charged from the Insurance company themselves, including the one I am currently with. As a result I got a $7200 fine from the IRS and H&R Block takes no responsibility for their mistake. Additionally the employees at this location treated me like I was trying to scam them out of some information they were as unhelpful as they could possibly be. Somehow they couldn't find our payment in their system I had to show them my bank transaction where I paid just for them to believe me but still did not help at all and wanted us to just leave the store. They were obviously frustrated at us for some reason when it was them in the wrong not us. Never again will I file with HR Block.

When my husband and I first walked in, we were greeted and asked to fill out a form. Pretty standard. After filling out the form, we were asked if we wanted any brownies or water. BROWNIES!!! As much as I enjoyed the offer, I had to decline since I was so full from eating dinner before arriving. Just that little gesture made me have a homey feel in that building. The staff was very delightful. I know there were times of frustration while doing our taxes, but they persevered through it all to help us out. Everyone was so friendly.
