I stayed at the Moxy Milan Linate Airport last night, as I got into Milan late after a cancelled…read moreflight. I needed somewhere close by for the night, so I chose Moxy.
The Moxy is about a 15 minute walk from the airport. They don't have a shuttle. So if you're not keen on walking, there is a local bus that runs about every half hour until about 930PM that stops by the Moxy. You can of course also take a taxi/Uber. I walked, and it wasn't too bad even with large heavy suitcases. Just follow the walking path (it's marked with an airplane symbol on the ground, walking next to the garage and to the street and towards the hotel. It's pretty straight forward. Just note that the street can be kind of busy with cars, so I'd advise on waiting for the stoplights to turn green before you cross the street!
The hotel is pretty basic. They provide enough towels for two persons. There is hand soap. No other amenities on the bathroom counter. In the shower is shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel.
Bed was pretty comfy and firm (the way I like it), and the pillows were not too hard (or high)- just the way I like it. My room was surprisingly quiet, so I slept fairly well!
In the morning, you'll most likely get a few knocks by housekeeping if you don't put your sign up. They knocked a few times asking when I was leaving- kinda was annoyed but hey I get they're doing their job (and I forgot to put the sign up).
Overall, a pretty good experience. Hotel isn't fancy at all, and is more on the budget end. I wouldn't pay more than 100€ to stay here, any more would be too expensive imo.
