They contacted me right away and we scheduled a session with our family dog in early March. Portrait session went well, they were professional and the picture that we chose looked perfect. We only ordered a 'simple' 8x11--that was still over $300 btw, and was told that we would get the order delivered in "about 12-15 weeks". Cool. I even contacted them a couple of weeks later to change our mailing address--which was the last time I actually spoke to someone--who took down the address and confirmed that everything was good to go. Again, MARCH 2, 2024 was when we had these portraits done. From the recent reviews here, it looks like I'm not the only one who has had such an experience. For several months I've called, left voice messages, and sent messages multiple times through their website with no answer back of where our portrait is or when we should expect it. For any type of business this is completely unacceptable to take people's money and not provide what they ordered. If something happened, like maybe something got messed up, got backed ordered, or whatever, it's still very much YOUR responsibility to communicate and fix the issue(s) that your customers are dealing with.

However I had planned a surprise renewal ceremony on the beach in Huntington Beach, California. My husband had no idea! Jenna was so great to work with! A few months prior to the ceremony, she came with me to the site to scout out the spot where she would hide out and take those photographs of my husband's shocked face. Jenna is amazing to work with! Even though she is a newborn/family photographer, she understands the connection between husband and wife. When the day came, she hid behind the cars, and when we walked down the stairs to meet our officiant, I could not see her at all! She hid well! Then she popped out, and started taking photos of us, and my husband's face lit up in joy. He was so surprised when he saw the officant waiting with us, and then once he saw Jenna, he was beyond shocked. (fist pump to Jenna, like we did it!!). During dinner, I also had been texting Jenna as we were running late, and she was so good at communicating with me. She was prepared for bright sun light, or low light. :) During our ceremony, Jenna was capturing each and every moment, and in a way that I did not even know she was there. So we enjoyed our renewal without the clicking of the camera or flash. She will leave a session, wipe her daughters bum and say it was part of your studio time, she will sign for cake deliveries, mail, and packages and will consider it studio time. She will go fix her daughters snacks and also consider it studio time. My daughters 1/2 birthday shoot was themed in purple to match her party. She knew literally 6 months ahead of time but procrastinated and waited until the night before to locate the props to no avail. So, I had to sit on the floor of her studio and help out together flowers for a back drop that were not the color I requested. So an $80 outfit and a $25 headpiece were deemed useless at that point. Newborn photography is far from as glamorous as the photos come out. You are trying to balance sleeping and eating habits while in a photo shoot. Let me tell you there is a lot of poop and pee involved. A lot! Cortney is her own boss and the families she shoots for adore her yet she still manages to get sh$* on daily! Ha ha! She once ran her studio from home, but professionally she desired the move to a studio outside home. It was beautiful. Backdrops and props galore. So relaxing and comfortable. Amours and dressers filled with clothing and headbands use to put together the finishing touches. Cortney really invests a lot of time shopping and turning over inventory to keep up on the latest and greatest fashion, themes, and backgrounds. This is all included in the photo sessions. She is talented and also quite the baby whisperer. We did the Baby's First Year Package. It was so worth it. She takes clients all over Arizona to do on site beautiful indoor and outdoor locations.
