So I made an appointment because my smile was bothering me because I chipped my front tooth eating sunflower seeds. Tip it keeps you from drowsy driving!! Anyway my teeth are really stained and I have a short crown in the front too. Came in and had my consultation. First they did a cleaning and did full set of X-rays. My smile makeover was in full swing. First appointment to prep, and put on my temporary was long but they do let you have gas. It helps the time go by. I just wasn't expecting my temporary to be one piece for multiple teeth. Oh well it even looked better than my previous teeth. But it took 4 weeks to get my crowns and veneers. Once my new teeth were ready I booked my final appointment. I was nervous because I didn't want it to look like someone else's teeth or chiclets. I really love my results. Look like my teeth just all one color and correct length. I couldn't be happier. Dr Clark and all of his staff are amazing. However, I recently called this office for a vivid image of my nerves that the doctor showed me. That technology is amazing! The receptions don't seem aware of what patients view and definitely need training on listening instead of assuming and lecturing. Patients aren't required to give a reason for wanting their records. They kept asking me why I wanted them. I told them it is my private information and that I didn't need a reason. Felt like a HIPPA violation that they repeatedly demanded it from me. It is my private information. I don't need a reason. Receptionists at doctor offices don't need to know and are not required to know. Then, the receptionists opened my chart to read and lecture me on who to call regarding my dental diagnosis from years ago. Again, felt like a HIPPA violation. I didn't ask them to do that. I didn't give permission to read my chart. I didn't ask for this extraneous info. Done long time ago. All I wanted is for the same image as the one that was shown to me there. Instead, they needed nosy reasons and were nosily reading my chart.

Ashley answered a million questions for me on the phone, more than once, with grace and patience; my concerns/requests we discussed were passed on to those who needed to know. Billing was discussed at scheduling and done prior to surgery so there were no surprises and no stress. Because my son had so many extra wisdom teeth, our dentist recommended Dr. Jerman. I recognized the name as last year he had done a surgery that went so well for my brother. My son's surgery went just as well- minimal bleeding and nearly zero pain. He sent us home with both verbal and written instructions which included the office phone number and his personal number in case of after hours questions or problems. Dr. Jerman called the 2nd evening to check on things and again offered his number. My son and I both highly recommend Dr. Jerman and his team.
