I'm not sure what has happened with this Pizza Hut but I feel they have increasingly declined since opening back up after the 2020 shutdown. It looked clean enough, not very many aisles inside but what they did have looked well stocked. The restrooms were clean and we were excited that their fountain area wasn't blocked off like some other places we've been through. There's papers posted everywhere saying limit yourselves in the store by staying 6' from everyone, new store hours during COVID-19 scare. They even have tape on the floor to stand behind when you're at the register. We got 2 slices of pizza for the both of us, he got 2 slices of pepperoni and I got 1 beef and 1 sausage slices. They're not cooking anything else except potato wedges or popcorn chicken. The sandwiches they have are placed in a cooler ad they're not making subs either. There really wasn't much choice for hot food. We also grabbed some new chargers and USB ports. The cashier was pretty nice but couldn't ring up our USB ports..after trying continuously she ended up getting a small USB port by the register and rang it up twice. We left and started heading back to the truck when we heard really loud yelling behind us. We looked back and saw a guy kicking the ice machine, hitting metal signs and throwing things. I don't know exactly what happened but this guy wasn't too happy. He ended up walking off and down the road before a police car showed up. I guess we missed that drama thankfully. Once in the truck we took out the pizzas, I'm not sure if it's just way to greasy or what but the pizza just doesn't taste right. We couldn't even finish ours...good thing we have some food on the truck. It makes me want a microwave for the truck even more.
