Stopped by Casey's in Port Huron for lunch with a friend and had a good experience overall. We started with the cheese curds, which were fantastic. Light panko breading, perfectly fried, and super flavorful. We had them with ranch, but marinara is also an option. I ordered the short rib pizza and added pepperoni. The toppings were fresh and tasty, though the crust was a bit soggy on the bottom. It wasn't the best pizza I've ever had, but still enjoyable. My friend went with the buffalo mac and cheese and really liked it. Service was terrific. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it's a solid spot if you're in the area. Around the holidays, the Christmas-packed atmosphere makes it especially fun, and I imagine it stays just as lively during the rest of the year too. read more

Stopped in at the recommendation of our hotel lobby. They were spot on! Casey's is fantastic. Visited at lunch time and ordered the spicy chicken bacon wrap and a hot honey pizza. Both were incredibly delicious. Our server Nikki was outstanding. One in our group has intense gluten allergies, and she walked us through the options. Our meal was exceptional. You can expect to seat yourself and quickly be helped. We sat in the open air side. Looked like it was a popular local weekend spot. Very nice. Highly recommend this spot. I was referred here to get the chicken tenders and stopped in during the weekday just before dinner. I seated myself as the sign indicated. I sat near the bar at a flattop table, and a nice breeze came in on a beautiful September day through the open garage doors. I ordered recommended five-piece tempura battered chicken tenders with seasoned fries. You also get the choice of 2 of 6 homemade dipping sauces. The entree came out promptly, and the tenders were piping hot but were dark, flat, and overcooked. The French fries were warm, not hot, and overly salty. The sauces were uninspired. The diet drink was flat and not very carbonated, coming from a soda gun at the bar. There is a high- and low-top bar seating and a patio area with umbrellas. Good service, competitive pricing, and a clean restroom. Unknown on WiFi. They have great reviews, but I did see another with overcooked chicken tenders. We came here based upon a recommendation from a friend at the marina named Natalie. She was telling us about this was an old original restaurant and made a couple other recommendations also the Greek options is what interest me and why we came here. So she dropped us off And lo and behold we've been here before. Last time through. So Peggy ordered chicken fingers. And I ordered the bowl of potato soup along with a. Gyro. Looking forward to leftovers so we can take it back to the boat for tomorrow's meal. The potato soup was just delivered and it looks awesome. The ambience of this place has inside outside and you should be able to find whatever you're looking for. So here's the bottom line: the food was excellent. The service was outstanding. Be aware that there's two sides to this restaurant on self-serve and one is full serve. We didn't get a chance to try the desserts from what Natalie was saying on the way back we should do that next time. Got to enjoy the amazing food at this place on a day when most of the city did not have power. But they still had customers there and it was filling up fast. I ordered the fried Reuben and it was a 5/5. Most Reubens have that soggy spot from the dressing or sitting around too long before it gets served. This had zero issues. It was perfectly crisp all on the outside and extremely flavorful. The place was cool and I enjoyed the atmosphere very much. The servers were all very kind and doing their best with any hiccups that came up with the power outage issue. I can't wait for another trip up here! read more

I had found Casey's listed on Yelp while traveling to Port Huron and it really exceeded all my expectations. Service and food were phenomenal. I didn't take a picture but the table fries with the dipping sauces and the breadsticks were amazing. Fries: were hot, crispy and well seasoned. The dipping sauces were amazing, we got the Hot Tomato, Roasted Poblano Crema, Chipotle Ranch, Dill Pickle so almost all of them. Reminded my husband and I of a great place in New York. We were a group of 7 and each and everyone commented on how good the food was. Grilled Ruben, Mahi Mahi tacos, Burger, Michigan Cherry salad and my Caseydilla (not a misspell, their name for it). The menu has many options. They had an apple desert that was big enough for all 7 of us to taste and it was delicious. All of this and one of the best waitstaff experiences ever. I am ashamed to say I don't recall her name and it isn't on the receipt. She was a petite brunette with her hair neatly wrapped in a scarf similar to "Rosie the Riveter". The Best! read more

My previous review was 11 years ago when Casey's was a one room shop it was a perfect place to go for lunch In the time since it has become a really cool place to eat in Port Huron. This place is done such a fantastic job of growing its model. When I first started going to this place back in 2006 I was one of the first customers. And it was pretty much a place where you can get pizza and sandwiches. Now they have a full bar and outdoor patio an army of effective waitresses and one of the best pizza in sub menus in town. One of my favorite places to eat in Port Huron. I especially enjoy it in the summer when the garage doors are open and I can sit outside where I can feel a breeze. The waitstaff are always great, not overly attentive but not absent either. It is a very nice looking place, on the surface anyway, over the years the tables and chairs have taken a beating and are not always fixed properly. The cool looking high-top tabletops often have crumbs stuck between the glass and it can be a big turn off. Beware that this is not the kind of place to go if you want a quiet or intimate setting. It is however great for a family gathering. It's often on the loud side which I think has a lot to do with the high open ceiling which also makes for some cold spots in the winter. The salads are beyond outstanding and the breadsticks are the very best. I have done in house and take-out pizza and have yet to be disappointed. My favorite sandwich is by far the philly cheesesteak, it is always absolute perfection. The fries are always good and I like that there are dipping sauce choices. Also, be sure to check out the cocktail menu, the seasonal one is always great. Love the to-go option. read more

The food at Casey's is always good. Today, I had lunch there with my son. We were almost finished and the bartender was getting me a small box to take home. She also refilled our waters. When she brought them, she accidentally spilled it on me, the counter, and (I found out later) in my box. She wrapped up the half of my sandwich and chips and put them in the box, not within my sight. When I got home, I discovered the food was covered in water and soggy. I ordered delivery online at 4:01PM, it said it would arrive at 5:01PM. At 4:20PM I called to see if they received my order because I did not receive an email confirmation as stated. At 5:30PM I called to check in my order since it had not yet arrived. I was on hold for 9 minutes before speaking with anyone. I was then told that my order was ready to be picked up. I then told them that I placed a delivery order. I was told that since they changed their online ordering platform, that has been happening. And they would get it to me as soon as possible. Now it's 5:55PM and my order has arrived. However, it is the order that has been sitting there since who knows when. The salad is warm with many spoiled pieces of lettuce and the pizza and breadsticks are cold. I was excited that I could finally order online because it allowed you to tip the driver and leave delivery notes, however those notes did not make it to the driver. I asked for the order to be left on my porch however they rang the bell and knocked causing chaos with my 3 dogs. Since 2020, I have not ordered from here because I couldn't tip when placing the order, now that you can I was excited! I won't be ordering for a long time. Such a disappointment. Summer Pizza tour stop #4. The setup in the restaurant is pretty cool. It is wide open with garage doors to the outside. The outside has seating, a bocce ball court and those cool hanging lights for the outside (like Christmas lights but not). The bar area as a cool bar top and a lot of beers. If you are looking for Michigan brewed beers they probably have 10+. The food looks really good, well the presentation is out of this world. We ordered breadsticks, a medium pepperoni pizza and water to drink. The breadsticks were fantastic. They came with cheese and had a buttery pool of goodness at the bottom of the basket. Ok so... we went to a favorite restaurant of ours 45 mins away yesterday... mind you I am in the service industry and have been for many many years. My fiance and I walked into this restaurant, sign said "sit yourself" so we did. About 7 minutes went by, no service, so I decided to go to the bathroom. I got back and my fiancé was furious, said a six top sat down next to us right when I left, they got their drink order first, menus etc. I was surprised because he's a calm guy, never gets angry. She gave the other table coasters silverware and menus. We were shortly asked what to drink. I said I wanted a spicy margarita, she said flatly, "That's seasonal, what else do you want?" I almost laughed at such awful service, no smile, no suggestion, no accommodation. She just stared at me until I ordered a basic drink I could get anywhere... Anyway the drinks came, mind you we still don't have menus. She asked us if we were ready to order and I said I'd be ready if I had a menu!? She literally ROLLED HER EYES AT ME! Then got a menu for us. We finished our first drinks before she even took our order, and I ordered an appetizer first! Like girl! THEN I had to ask for a second round, then I had to ASK TO ORDER OUR ENTREES! The food and drinks were wonderful as always. Of course we will come back some day. But the audacity! She never gave me her name, neither did she smile at all. Terrible service but delicious food and drink! Always get good service idk why this time was so bad. From the moment we walked in and seen a line out the door on a Thursday evening we knew we were in the right spot! The host was wonderful and so patient while there was a line. We then had the absolute pleasure to have Emma take care of us. Her smile is contagious. Customer service was perfect and she did such a wonderful job. Every employee we interacted with were just as good. To the kitchen staff, keep up the great work! Food was perfect, just as the service! We arrived with a party of 16 , they had just seated another party of that size . They were not sure if they could accommodate us ! They asked a server and were quickly able to accommodate the party ! Our server was excellent and all the help she had . The food was great ! Everyone enjoyed the food !
