The first day I was given a list of things I needed to verify my income so I returned the next day and was told I needed my bank information which provided the day before and was asked to come back the next day with copies of paystubs which I printed out in the store then I was told I had to have a copy of my bank statement with my name appearing which I printed in store, then the list kept getting longer which I manually logged into my work account remotely and showed the lady the things she asked for then she kept calling her manager and each time I was asked to present something else. I didn't have a chance to print my paystubs but didn't think it would be an issue since I've worked for the same company for almost 2 years and I didn't need them the last loan I got there. The lady seemed irritated that I didn't have them but went ahead and ran all my info and I went ahead and jumped on my paychex app to pull up my recent stubs. She was making small talk and mentioned how busy the day had been and glad it was almost over. She then let me know I got denied for no proof of income. Well I had it on my opine and asked to email it so she would have it, she said she had no access to do this. Really?! It's 2016, I can send it to your fax or even jump on the wifi and print it from my phone to your printer! She was pretty rude about it all and suggested I just complain to Corp. well that's a joke because the 800 complaint line posted on the door is just an ad company trying to sell insurance or T-Mobile!! I called and was redirected 15 times and never got to a person. This is too bad because I get a call every month from this store asking for my business since I've been a long time customer and have always paid my loans back on time or early. I asked a simple question regarding opening a business account and received a rude response. After that, I sat waiting for assistance while the woman behind the counter, who appeared to be a manager, spoke to me briefly and then suddenly walked away when another customer entered the branch. She spent about 15 minutes helping that customer with a phone app while completely ignoring me. What upset me most was that when I finally decided to leave, she did not acknowledge me at all -- not even a glance or apology for the wait. It was very clear to me that my business was not valued. Because of this experience, I left and went directly to Wells Fargo to open my new business account instead. Customer service matters, especially when someone is considering bringing their business to your bank. Chase lost a potential customer because of the poor service and lack of professionalism I experienced.
