Stasha gives really good customer service. She is very polite and friendly. She makes sure that the customer Service is highly favored.

Alex Hernandez is consistently professional. The past 11 or 12 months I have observed his above average customer service attitude and skill set. Let me preface, this experience would have easily been a five star rating if it weren't for the woman that was managing the drive-through. I'm not sure if her name is "Rania" or "Rhonda", it was unclear. She was the furthest on the right when facing the counter. I'm no stranger to in person banking, I'm in my early 40s. I came in to make a deposit & have never been to this location before. From my understanding it is a shared co-op and I wanted to make a cash deposit. I approach the counter, the woman is extremely transactional and dry. Generally after greeting and stating what your business is, the teller will ask you to either provide ID or an account number, she did neither. I had to ask her what she needed from me. I had the funds, my ID & account number ready. I tell her that I want to make a deposit & ask her does she want my ID or an account number? She replied, ID or account. I hand her my ID, she begins her search in the computer and then says that I need a deposit slip (I am aware). Generally deposit slips are at the counter with the teller, not saying that they aren't also in the lobby but I've never been to this location before so I am not aware of their location or that they are even in their lobby. I don't normally bank here. I fill out my deposit slip and return to the counter, thank goodness with a different teller. I believe she said her name was Alexia. She was very sweet and customer service exceptional. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make my deposit because my institution is no longer apart of the shared branch network with this institution. No problem at all. However "Rania" needs to improve her lack of customer service because that was unacceptable. read more

During our recent transaction we had the privilege of meeting some amazing representatives. They each played an important role in helping us. This credit union in Garland, TX is one of the best when it comes to servicing customers. It is also a Co-Op shared branch meaning you can service your accounts from other credit unions there. The people that work there are very friendly and inviting. For all my DFW family I would recommend recommend Resource One for all your banking needs. read more

I recently joined Resource One Credit Union - Garland and it has been a "love affair" ever since. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and I'm always greeted by name. The branch manager is awesome, too. George Christian introduced me to a few options for mortgage refinance. His guidance and assistance have been life changing!! The process was quick, efficient, professional and secure. Clarice Taylor from loan processing was a gem!! She provided up-to-date information and was always pleasant to speak with and available when I called or emailed. I have been a member for years and have had to deal with ATM never working and multiple instances that transactions delayed and deposits delayed. For over 6 years we have had so many OD fees and have had to fight to get them waived and prove the ATM was not working. Not until last week a teller asked me if I wanted to remove the OD privilege. So out of all the times we have called and complained it took 6 years for someone to ask us. I am disappointed in this banking institution and truly saddened they did not see their mistake. read more

I have been with the credit union for about 9 years. One of the benefits of being a member of a CU was that you're not only a member but you're a shareholder. I have not been treated with respect or regard for years. I've over looked a handful of instances of poor customer service however I can not any longer. Their reps are NEVER informed about what's going on with my account and I call on average 2 times a week and rarely get the same information. I would definitely find another institution to manage your funds because R1cu is not an adequate institution. read more

I am closing my account with Resource One after 18 years for several reasons, but mainly because I am listed as a joint on my ex-husband's account, he is too lazy to remove me, and they will not help me. They'd rather keep his dormant account with $23 in it, than my 18 year old account. I've tried for five years to get them to stop sending me his correspondence to no avail. They are simply incompetent, rude, and care about their customers just as much as a big bank. You are nothing but a number to them, so might as well switch to a bank with better interest rates. read more

I love this financial institution. My husband and I have been members for about three years now and cannot say anything negative about them. They are extremely accommodating and super friendly. Ive been a member for 3 yrs now. Sad to say, Im closing my account. The branch on Arapaho Rd. makes too many mistakes. Twice they' ve deposited my funds in someone else's account. The last straw was today when they lost my driver's license!! Unbelievable!! Still waiting on them to review their cameras. First, they told me I didn't send a license. When I called customer service, they said that they see I sent my license. They just need to figure out what happened to it. There is only 1 competent employee working there, Choi. The rest of them need to be retrained in banking & customer service. read more

We have been R1CU members for well over 30 years, joining when we worked for The Southland Corporation (7-Eleven). We have always had excellent service from this credit union. We do most transactions online, but went into the branch on Arapaho today to consolidate three checking accounts into one -- something we have intended to do for several years and finally did it. We find that R1CU meets our checking account needs quite nicely. They have a full service web presence, bill pay (through the web) and just about any other banking service you may need. We have not had a brick and mortar "bank" account for decades. If you have not picked up on this post yet, we are very satisfied with Resource One Credit Union. We highly recommend them. read more

We switched from the Carrollton branch to the garland branch with the move. We were very pleased with the Carrollton branch thus the two stars. The switch to the Garland branch was a huge mistake. The employees at the this Garland branch were unable to answer the simplest questions and provided us with inaccurate answers. We were told that if we have a account that had to checking accounts linked to it we were able to pay bills from either account, though we went through the appropriate steps as instructed this did not occur because their system does not support this task. The accounts were nearly overdrawn multiple times!!! Out of frustration and their inability to rectify the situation, and answer questions accurately we finally closed every account. Though the accounts were closed months ago I still get biweekly alerts that account transfers cannot occur because of insufficient funds. Duhh!!! the accounts are closed. The employees cannot figure out how to stop the email alerts! Do not recommend. read more
