Mark Cashin employs a broker, sponsors his financial license, by the name of William Ball. William took investment principle from me for a short term bridge loan and the funds were never returned on or after the date of maturity. Mark has politely asked me to not reach out to him or his company. I have filed an official complaint with the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and they have informed me that Mark is liable, and responsible for following up with his employee. He has chosen to distance himself from the entire situation. This has all transpired, from investment, to maturity from November 24th, 2019 to today.
I would tread lightly, very lightly dealing with private lenders in general. But the accountability is not there. William Ball takes money for what he claims are investments and stops returning calls when he doesn't return the funds. And he is an employee of Cashin Mortgages. read more
