Thought that was pretty nice and the service was great. The hotel room itself was a little bit old school. It isn't as modern as other hotels in Europe but still comfortable. I would say the best thing about the room is that it also had two chairs and a coffee table inside. The room was large too! For breakfast it was a big buffet filled with a nice coffee machine. Just press a button and it gets done in minutes. With three rows of a verity of fresh cheeses and meats. The internet was fast here and pretty up to date. In walking distance there is a small gas station that was open and it had a mini market inside with loads of beer and chips. Next to the hotel a small mini casino if you want to gamble but don't expect it to be like Vegas. Also not that many people were in this place. Don't forget to bring your passport along with you if you want to enter. Also you need to get a username and password from the front desk people to get wi-fi and it is only good for 24 hours.

It was comfortable with a double bed and excellent and clean facilities. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. They gave us excellent guidance and recommendations, we also booked a couple of trips through the reception. They were so accommodating and we were able to have a relaxed evening drink in the bar/breakfast room. The staff really made us at home and were always polite and considerate. The hotel is close to shops and is only a 10 minute walk to the nearest tram stop, which takes you straight into the town centre. The excursions also pick up directly from outside the hotel. I would definitely go back based on the pleasant and wonderful experience.

It was like crossing into a bad neighborhood. The rooms are uninhabitable in the summer as it was hotter than outdoors with direct sunlight and no climate control. It's a noisy street as well, so it meant trading an open window for the sounds of noisy cars. The rooms themselves are quite bad with exposed concrete and torn wallpaper. Ultimately, we had to check out 2 days early and move to a hotel that didn't have unbearable heat in the rooms. They did not offer a refund on the 2 days we would not be staying. 1 star since 0 is not an option.

I had access to the club lounge and the bar there is nicely stocked. The dinner menu at this lounge is also, so delicious. There are a variety of sandwiches, cured meats, cheeses, soups, main dishes and desserts that rivals restaurants around the area. Back on the location, if the Vistula River and Castle views aren't enough, the 5 - 10 minute walk to Old Town Krakow and maybe 15-20 min walk to the Jewish Quarter is so convenient.

It was so convenient for us. We're early risers, and it's so nice to be able to just walk across the hall for coffee, tea, juice, and fruit. We also visited that lounge in the evening on a daily basis. The hot snacks served there are more like a meal. We had some delicious polish soups, pork meatballs, grilled chicken, and pasta dishes. The apple pie there is absolutely delicious. There were different desserts each day, and the staff were great in keeping the serving area clean and with their knowledge of wines. It was a great way to end the day. The breakfast bar and kitchen service were great. They cook your eggs to order and make omelets. There was always some kind of Mediterranean or Asian side dish available as well as traditional Polish sausage, breads, and pastries. The crisp vegetable samosas or crispy wonton bites were my favorite sides along with the grilled mushrooms and crispy hash browns. The buffet had just about everything. The fruit was fresh. More so than any buffet I've ever been to. I wish I had taken a picture of the watermelon. Our room was the perfect size for the two of us. It was very comfortable and clean. I was very happy with the water pressure in the shower, as well as the storage space. The air conditioning also worked well. No issues with accommodations whatsoever. The service was fantastic! My husband remembered how well they treated him when visiting back in 2002. That's why he recommended we stay here. He was so right. I wish I could name everyone on the staff. The ones we remember the most are Alicia and Peter. They were always so helpful and nice, but everyone was great. We wouldn't hesitate in booking this hotel again if we ever make it back to Kraków. In our case the worst thing was that one of the *things* was stuck. We were informed about not using force in the game and couldn't get past particular point of the game for 20 minutes. Closer to the end we've made a desperate move with more strength and made it go. Later moderator told that he was watching that but decided not to interfere. Not sure if it was right, it's his job to make the game fun not stupid. Giving 3 stars instead of 2 because an amazing cat lives here and assists you during the game =^.^=

It has recently opened since the site was still being excavated in 2005, but the ruins date back to mid-10th century. It is very cool to realize that this whole city/civilization you are walking through is now buried under the city center. When you come above ground it's remarkable still to think it's all under you. Kid friendly, clean, lots of fun exhibits and everything has English subtitles.
