Thought that was pretty nice and the service was great. The hotel room itself was a little bit old school. It isn't as modern as other hotels in Europe but still comfortable. I would say the best thing about the room is that it also had two chairs and a coffee table inside. The room was large too! For breakfast it was a big buffet filled with a nice coffee machine. Just press a button and it gets done in minutes. With three rows of a verity of fresh cheeses and meats. The internet was fast here and pretty up to date. In walking distance there is a small gas station that was open and it had a mini market inside with loads of beer and chips. Next to the hotel a small mini casino if you want to gamble but don't expect it to be like Vegas. Also not that many people were in this place. Don't forget to bring your passport along with you if you want to enter. Also you need to get a username and password from the front desk people to get wi-fi and it is only good for 24 hours.

They gave us excellent guidance and recommendations, we also booked a couple of trips through the reception. They were so accommodating and we were able to have a relaxed evening drink in the bar/breakfast room. The staff really made us at home and were always polite and considerate. The hotel is close to shops and is only a 10 minute walk to the nearest tram stop, which takes you straight into the town centre. The excursions also pick up directly from outside the hotel. I would definitely go back based on the pleasant and wonderful experience.

It was like crossing into a bad neighborhood. The rooms are uninhabitable in the summer as it was hotter than outdoors with direct sunlight and no climate control. It's a noisy street as well, so it meant trading an open window for the sounds of noisy cars. The rooms themselves are quite bad with exposed concrete and torn wallpaper. Ultimately, we had to check out 2 days early and move to a hotel that didn't have unbearable heat in the rooms. They did not offer a refund on the 2 days we would not be staying. 1 star since 0 is not an option.

I had access to the club lounge and the bar there is nicely stocked. The dinner menu at this lounge is also, so delicious. There are a variety of sandwiches, cured meats, cheeses, soups, main dishes and desserts that rivals restaurants around the area. Back on the location, if the Vistula River and Castle views aren't enough, the 5 - 10 minute walk to Old Town Krakow and maybe 15-20 min walk to the Jewish Quarter is so convenient.

It was so convenient for us. We're early risers, and it's so nice to be able to just walk across the hall for coffee, tea, juice, and fruit. We also visited that lounge in the evening on a daily basis. The hot snacks served there are more like a meal. We had some delicious polish soups, pork meatballs, grilled chicken, and pasta dishes. The apple pie there is absolutely delicious. There were different desserts each day, and the staff were great in keeping the serving area clean and with their knowledge of wines. It was a great way to end the day. The breakfast bar and kitchen service were great. They cook your eggs to order and make omelets. There was always some kind of Mediterranean or Asian side dish available as well as traditional Polish sausage, breads, and pastries. The crisp vegetable samosas or crispy wonton bites were my favorite sides along with the grilled mushrooms and crispy hash browns. The buffet had just about everything. The fruit was fresh. More so than any buffet I've ever been to. I wish I had taken a picture of the watermelon. Our room was the perfect size for the two of us. It was very comfortable and clean. I was very happy with the water pressure in the shower, as well as the storage space. The air conditioning also worked well. No issues with accommodations whatsoever. The service was fantastic! My husband remembered how well they treated him when visiting back in 2002. That's why he recommended we stay here. He was so right. I wish I could name everyone on the staff. The ones we remember the most are Alicia and Peter. They were always so helpful and nice, but everyone was great. We wouldn't hesitate in booking this hotel again if we ever make it back to Kraków. Closer to the end we've made a desperate move with more strength and made it go. Later moderator told that he was watching that but decided not to interfere. It's located in the main old town square where the church, Christmas markets, and Cloth Hall are. Finding where to buy tickets and the entrance was tricky just by following Google Maps. After visiting St. Mary's Basilica, I was walking towards Rynek Glowny to find this museum. I got chatted up by people asking for donations for different reasons: Ukraine, children, etc. Once I finally found the ticket booth and entrance, I was on my merry way. They take cash (Polish zloty) and credit cards and it's costs about $7. You can also buy tickets on their website if you know exactly when you're coming here. What in the world is this museum all about? That's the question I had for a good thirty minutes as I'm wandering around. Some parts of the museum don't have written information/ labels. You see rocks, dirt, metalworks, a display that looks like a part of a village...and then, it all makes sense! It's a museum with artifacts from Medieval times in Krakow from 1200's to 1700's. Florian's Gate, Barbican, Wawel Castle, and Rynek Glowny all were important parts of the old city. The city was attacked by the Mongols three different times and so, Krakow had to be walled up. You'll see artifacts from what it was like back then. You'll see parts of the original walls. After doubting yourself for deciding to come here, you'll get the point after a while.
