This was such a fantastic authentic Puerto Rican meal and experience. My family and I had dinner plans elsewhere that got canceled, so at the last minute we had to find somewhere to eat and ended up at Casita Isabela less than an hour before they closed. Such a cute place. The staff could not have been more friendly or welcoming, reassuring us that they did not mind our late timing and were more than happy to feed us. The food was delicious- not heavy, not greasy, just good quality ingredients. We are big foodies, and look for restaurants that cater to locals rather than tourists, and Casita Isabela definitely fit that bill. The carne frita (fried pork), dorado fillet (mahi mahi) and mamposteado rice were fantastic. The sweet plantains were the best we've had-- and we LOVE sweet plantains--and the coconut espresso martini (dulce Isabela) was made for you espresso martini snobs out there. We also enjoyed the pernil estafado guisado (braised stewed pulled pork), the pechuga rellena de yuca envuelta en tocineta (bacon wrapped chicken stuffed with yuca), and the arenales burger (pulled pork sandwich). Each meal also came with some nice fresh greens which was so refreshing. Not pictured: the steak montaditos, which I highly recommend trying. We will definitely be back.

Love the vibe! Chill spot with cool games. Took the kids last night and ordered some mojitos and Puerto Rican food. It was outstanding. My Puerto Rican husband said it's some of the best he's ever had. And he rarely says that haha! Service was great. Friendly staff! Loves it so mic read more

Absolutely loved my visit to Casita Isabela! The rustic, wood-paneled interior and local art give it the most welcoming atmosphere. Their coffee is excellent for an afternoon boost, and the sangria is refreshing and perfectly mixed. Great drinks, cozy vibes, and excellent service--I will definitely be back! read more
