I had the half chicken dish with rice and beans. The chicken had a nice sear on it, and I appreciated the meat still had the skin on it, adding a unique flavor to the dish. The rice had plenty of flavor, and the beans were pretty typical of what I've found throughout the island. We had a delicious brunch at Vittata in Aguadilla. So close to the beautiful Rompeolas beach. The staff was amazing. We had a group of 7, some were vegetarian and others not. The chefs were able to accommodate the dietary restrictions and the end result was delightful. Each plate looked so beautiful coming out, truly showed the pride in their service. Two years later, an update: the food is still terrific, and the cocktails are still amazing... but the service needs lots of improvement. There are only 8 or 9 tables at this place, and no one sits at the bar, so why does it take FOREVER to get drinks and food? We went twice in a week and had the same server. After drinking so many margaritas we had no room for dinner but we did not pass up the opportunity to have such an authentic, flavorful flan, today they had flan de calabaza, pumpkin flan, it was phenomenal. I had a grapefruit margarita and my boyfriend had a Mezcal margarita. Beautiful restaurant, but we left before the sun set because it's not in the best neighborhood, unfortunately. Sorry I didn't take pics of the soup or the burger but I did get a pic of the special they had for Christmas Eve and Christmas. Suckling pork with a risotto and chicken sausage was my main and I literally wanted to lick the plate clean.
