If I can give them -0000 stars I swear I would. I had waited 2 years to write this review I had financed a Peugeot Car from this company about 2 years ago ... just under 5 months into the owning the car, it began to show serious faults. One day driving all the car alarms were going off. I had to pull off to the side and turn the car off. Who knew for a whole month the car would not start. I had to contact AA to get the car back to my house and wait one month for an appointment with Peugeot to fix this. Immediately when this happened I had contacted Reverie Auto about this, saying this should not be happening especially as it was within 6 months of purchase (I did this through Auto Traders). To put things into perspective, the car had never been in an accident with me at this time, it was a 68 plate car with only 19,000 miles at the time. (Which later we found that the mileage had been changed from 30,000 to 19,000 just before I financed it - my partner had to do extra digging to find this information). The faults were showing gearbox fault, engine fault, hill start fault, tyre pressure faults .. all faults that can be imagined with the car. On top of this the car AC also does not work .. Once I managed to get the car to Peugeot they wanted to charge almost £2,000 to fix it, and to do a major service which was additional £470 as they had no record of the car ever being serviced. I contacted Reverie Auto about this, (specifically Mohammed Salam) initially they said there was nothing they can do about it and the car had been serviced but it was not a full service done by manufacturer. I then had my partner speak to them and they offered £350 towards the repair (sexist !) Completely unacceptable. After the repairs took place the issues continued to keep happening, I would drive for about an hour, sometimes even less and once the car has been turned off it will not turn on again, sometimes I would wait over 1hr to get the car started again. I took it to Peugeot about 6 times maybe even more, left the car with them for days for it to be fixed, and still the same issues were occurring. I contacted Reverie Auto again about this and was told, I say no lie 'The finance company has paid us our money so it has nothing to do with us anymore'. I really couldn't not believe this is what I was being told. I then went to speak to the finance company about this (CA Auto Finance is the company). Again I was told there was nothing they can do as the fault could not be shown at time of purchase. Common sense would tell you that if the ECU (the main component of the car) is not working, that is it clearly an inherited fault, and as the fault is intermittent there was no way I could tell at point of purchase the fault was there. They offered me £100 as a 'sorry'. Which I refused. Considering there were months, weeks and days at a time I would not be using the car but still keeping up will all my finance payments. I asked the company is there anyway to exchange the car, I had even stated that I'm willing to pay the same amount monthly even if the car is swapped for something of less value but they rejected this offer. I had then contacted the ombudsman, first it gets assigned to an investigator, who could clearly could see something was wrong. My investigator (Emily who was absolutely lovely throughout the whole process) agreed with what was said and wrote a proposal of how to make this right. Again the CA Auto finance rejected this, they offered a repair, which I rejected considering almost £2.5k was already paid from my own pocket to fix this. Bear in mind Reverie Auto did nothing during this time, no follow up no support literally nothing anything. After a year of waiting for a decision from the FOB, it finally worked in my favour and we managed to get the car taken away no additional cost to me plus compensation. Please avoid using this company! M

I should have written this review sometime in February 2017 but I kept on procrastinating because I…read morejust wanted to forget about this garage because of the experience I had with them. However, I have always felt that other people need to know my experiences with Prestige Performance (PP) because my review might just help someone who is reading this. After all, that is what reviews are for. Here is how it all started. I have a low mileage E38 740i which was built in the year 2000. That's a V8 and at the time it had done just under 55K miles on the clock. Late in December 2016 the car blew the radiator while I was away from home, so I called the AA to come and rescue me. The nice AA guy who came did a DIY job by covering the hole with some special glue and let it set in so that I could drive it home. He topped it up with water as well and he spent about two hours bleeding the engine to get rid of all the trapped air. He kept on telling me that these kind of cars need to be bled thoroughly or they would wreak havoc on you. So the plan was that I would drive the car home and then take it to the garage for a radiator replacement. Unfortunately I pushed my luck a bit and drove the car a few days without taking it to the garage. A few days later the temporary glue came off and the radiator raptured again on the motorway. The AA came and rescued me again. I asked them to tow the car to PP since that was the nearest garage from my house. I had only ever used PP once before for my wife's MOT and they seemed OK. We had only been living in the area for about two years, having moved from London. The AA guy who towed me to PP had warned me that there had been no damage to any part of the engine since it had not overheated in any way, and therefore, I should be weary of anyone who told me otherwise. So PP replaced the radiator and I did not have to pay a penny because the fix was covered under my AA Breakdown Cover. The car was fine for a few days until the dreaded "CHECK COOLANT LEVEL" message started appearing on the dashboard. I was confused since there was plenty of coolant in the car. I took the car back to PP and surprise surprise they told me that it had failed a head gasket test. Reading from the invoice I got back from them the amount I was charged for the investigation was £88 and the job was "Investigate cause of cooling system leaking and traced to cylinder head gasket failure". Further the workshop notes read: "Cylinder head gasket failed £2900 inc VAT to replace both cylinder head gaskets including skimming cylinder heads". Yes, they were going to charge me a whooping £2,900 to fix a problem that never existed! My heart was broken because my wife told me to get rid of the car - she does not have the emotional attachment that I have to it;) Remembering the warning from the AA guy I decided that I would take the car back to my normal garage in Hendon where the car has been serviced since about the year 2006. They investigated and found that the car had not been bled properly after the radiator had been replaced, hence the coolant level message on the display. They charged me less than £100 to fix the problem. I went back and told PP what had happened and all they told me was that they scanned the car with their machine and that was the result they got. Fair enough! I bet that even if I had the money and foolish enough they would have done the job and fail to bleed the car properly again. Imagine that a single AA guy could bleed the car whilst operating alone on the side of the road and PP could not do it whilst operating in a garage. Case closed! My car has done about 60K miles now and it's had no head gasket problems.

Work - Took an e90 in for an MOT and queried a warning light on the dashboard…read more Car passed it's MOT but they charged me nearly £300 for re-attaching a cable which is why the warning light came on. No courtesy call to warn me of cost, when I had asked for an update. Very rude response from Barry when I questioned the price, saying... "if I query something then they take that contractually as agreeing to go ahead and do the work and if they do find a fault then they'll go ahead and fix the problem without asking, incase I go elsewhere for a cheaper quote" Will not be using them again
