HORRIBLE experience!!!! She doesn't know what she is doing! I took her to notarize a STATEMENT OF CONSENT: ISSUANCE OF US PASSPORT TO A CHILD She refused to sign that actual document. Insisted that she needed to do her own form based on California guidelines. I asked her to please fill out the form about 3-4 times. I told her I didn't have time for mistakes since my grandmother is dying in another country and I need for all this go right. She didn't sign it! We went our own way.. I didn't feel good about the document, so I called up other notaries and they said that the document HAD to be filled out.. so I reached back out to Cassandra. She had me drive out to meet her (totally inconvenient) she finally filled out the document. I turned everything in to the passport agency and my sons passport was rejected because Cassandra crossed out something on the document and she wrote the wrong date. Now, I have to decide wether to cancel my trip to see my dying grandmother or leave my son behind!!! Thanks a lot Cassandra!!! And no you did not give me the option! You REFUSED to sign the statement of consent and assisted on the certificate instead. And when you finally did sign the document (after we met for the second time) you wrote the wrong date on it. An apology would be great instead of trying to put it off on me. You know you messed up big time! Next time... do your research or simply say "I can't do this at all" instead of giving wrong information. Update: recently used Pacific Notary to fix this mistake.
