I had no mechanical parts problems before he arrived but just needed coolant. After he finished putting in coolant he suddenly told me my Furnace drip pan was cracked and needed a new part but had to order it. Before he arrived I never heard water dripping and then suddenly when he was finished with the maintenance I had this dripping noise from my furnace and he left with the air conditioning running and when I came home from work I had water all over my floor where the furnace was and turned off the air conditioning. He sent me a invoice for a $700 repair but never told me what was actually needed and he didn't turn off the air conditioning when he left knowing the dripping water would cause damage to my furnace.

He red tagged our furnace and shut off the gas line. The next day we had another furnace inspection by a different company (while we were working on getting quotes for a new furnace) and we were told there was absolutely nothing wrong with our existing g furnace and that Vredevoogd uses this scheme to sell furnaces. The HVAC unit in my new Condominium worked great for air conditioning this summer, but when I turned it on to get some heat to help dry a painting project, nothing happened. In less than 2 hours, Bill (the owner) showed up, diagnosed the problem and apologized for not being able to repair the problem immediately, as he didn't have the part. No charge for the visit or estimate! Without missing a beat, he contacted Lennox, got the part ordered and the next day, showed up and installed it. My total bill, less than most people pay for a repair call without resolution! On the way out the door after he had completed the repair, Bill noticed my doorknob was loose. Next thing I know, he's got it off, fixed and put back on. No CHARGE! Amazing Bill! You put the CUSTOMER in Customer Service!
