I don't even know where to start really. Cassie is an amazing person inside and out. We INSTANTLY connected just by her choice in sweater! (obviously it was Basgiath gear). She was amazing with my girls. They warm up quickly with the right person and Cassie is just that. She knows exactly what to say and how to say it to make you feel comfortable. She has the perfect ideas and captures them so quickly. I warned her before we shot that we were NOT very good picture takers and didn't have a clue on how to pose. Cassie never made us feel silly for that and definitely helped us capture those moments. It was so hard to choose from all of them that we ordered more than our package included, which was already 15 pictures (color and black and white). She was quick with her sneak peak and even quicker with the whole album. She was clear about how long it would take from start to finish (once the pictures were taken). This process took about 30 second from leaving the location for sneak peak and about a day or so to see the whole album. I took forever deciding which ones we wanted but I'd say all in all maybe 3 days from picture taking to having edited pictures. Dad is deployed and that made it hard to want to take these pictures but between Cassie's wonderful and patient personality and the weather cooperating perfectly, we were able to come out with some of the most fantastic pictures! Before we even left the shoot, we set up deployment homecoming pictures. AND, she doesn't know it yet, she'll be doing newborn/family pictures once baby brother is born! I booked Cassie for my maternity shoot and it was the best decision! I found her through Instagram and searches online and after getting quotes from or talking to other photographers, Cassie by far was the most pleasant, most responsive, most helpful, and super talented. We had scheduled the shoot two months in advance and when the day arrived, the weather was not as we had hoped since we were shooting on the beach and Cassie totally left it up to me to decide if I wanted to go through with the shoot anyways. She was so sincere and genuine when she kept telling me that it was my photoshoot and she wanted me to have the best experience and the background I wanted. We decided to reschedule, but when the day came again, the skies were again gray, it was chilly, windy and gloomy. I didn't want to reschedule so we followed through with it although I was not in good spirits due to the weather. When Cassie arrived, she gave me a big hug and reassured me several times not to worry about the weather or background and that everything was going to come out perfect. We haven't received our pictures yet but we did get a preview and were absolutely stunned with how magical the picture turned out. Cassie gave me the BEST experience! Cassandra is a great photographer, and an even nicer person! I thoroughly enjoyed working with her for our family photos. She accommodated our schedules and desired location, got there early to scope out potential backgrounds for our photos, and was extremely patient with our 1-1/2 year old daughter (and us) throughout our session. In our hour session we took pictures in a few different areas, and it was nice to have photos with different backgrounds, almost as if we were at different venues. We were able to see a couple of edited preview images almost immediately and we received about 40 digital images a little over a week later. My wife and I hired Cassie to shoot our engagement photos last year. We traveled from Sacramento to have a session done in the amazing setting of Coronado Beach! When we arrived for our shoot, Cassie was very friendly and excited to get started. She had a lot of ideas that covered the spectrum of traditional portraits, cute and playful, candid and action, and of course romantic poses. She was able to easily brake down the mild nerves that come when getting your photos taken -- especially by a professional. She made it a very comfortable experience. She toured us around the entire area while capturing images of us the entire time, including pictures of us around the world famous Hotel del Coronado and ending the photo session with some beautiful sunset images of us on the beach. If I could describe the experience in three words it would be "fun and professional." When we received the images from the shoot, we were amazed at the quality and creativity involved with the entire process. We were so impressed, we booked her to shoot our wedding portraits in Las Vegas after our wedding in February. Again, she delivered the look and feel of imagery we expected as well as making that part of planning and executing our wedding portraits a cinch! We are so so grateful that we found Cassie to capture and create beautiful memories of our family. Her patience with my family and ability to get everyone relaxed and full of smiles is truly remarkable, combined with her incredible talent behind the camera lens and sheer talent and dedication for touching up and fine tuning the photos afterwards - wow, wow. Cassandra showed up with everything to make mini photo studio which ultimately produced super high quality beautiful photos! She was very professional and asked questions to help personalize the photo session, e.g. what is the theme of the nursery, favorite sport, favorite animal, etc. When we told her we had a Peter Rabbit theme, she actually knitted a cute bunny ears bonnet for our baby boy to wear in the photos. I made a last minute appointment with Cassandra. I was desperate for a spot anywhere for my 6 months old milestone shoot. Someone referred her on a Facebook post and she was so quick to help me.
