The view is spectacular! You get a 360 of Rio at it's finest. You can see Ipanema, the dois irmaos, the lagoon and even the sugar loaf! When we were finally done eating, we enjoyed the pool deck for the sunset. We were not allowed to take our glass champagne glasses out with us so they happily transferred them into plastic champagne glasses so we could enjoy our saideira by the pool. I am not sure what their regular menu is like, but all the dishes that were out for the Easter brunch were great. There was a yummy bacalhau and a risotto. And let's not forget the dark chocolate fondue with fruit kebob sticks to dip into the chocolate! A+

The venue is pretty large - there was a lot of open walking space before you arrived closer towards the stage. My wristband was for the AYCD section - the stage area for this was kind of small. I don't think we were able to walk around to the GA grounds at all as we were fenced in, but I could be wrong as I never tried. The GA area had zip lining, a ferris wheel (I think), and not sure what other things they had that we did not. I liked how clean and spacious this venue was. There as a section for food, picnic tables along the concrete and grassy areas. Bathrooms were always clean for the most part, but as the night continued each day, would run out of soap and paper towels to use after washing your hands at the sink. I appreciated how they had full length mirrors. There were sooo many places to walk up and get a drink or a refill on something. Specific areas for specific alcohols and sucos e água and certain times there were areas closer to the stage where they had little carts of popcorn. Vendors would walk around too carrying bottles, ice, mixers like Red Bull for refilling guests without them having to lose their spot on the dance floor. Other vendors selling things like Halls, gum, vapes, cigarettes, etc. I only knew of one area for Uber drop-off and pick-up and it was a pretty narrow street, however I never really had an issue locating mine or getting out and walking towards the entrance. Vendors will be posted outside in case you're thirsty or hungry and there will be lots of other people waiting around. Honestly not bad at all when I compare it to some events in the USA. It would probably be more of a mess back at home to be honest. I would 100% come back here for another event. There is also a hotel that is nearby I was considering booking just for the dates of the event, but I wasn't sure what I would do during the hours that the event did not run, but I could have taken Ubers out or went to the mall. The event started at 5 or 6 at night and went on until 6 in the morning each day. The Uber was around 40-50ish minutes to and from Copacabana and I got to see a family of Capybaras one night!

Great hotel with friendly staff and good facilities!…read more The location is great - right across from a gorgeous beach. They have dedicated chairs and staff to assist on the beach. Two restaurants - Canto and Shiso. Both were very good. We ate at the hotel several times for the convenience. The Grand Lounge is well appointed with evening cocktails / snacks and a good breakfast spread. Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating - especially Maria Alicia who helped me several times during my stay Highly recommended!!.

We also enjoyed the hotel activities such as the cocktail class as well as the sushi making class. The resort is 45 minutes away from the main attractions of Rio, but well worth it. We will definitely come back the next time we visit Brazil.
