I lived here for a little over a year and enjoyed my time here for the most part. It was pretty quiet, I liked that there are 3 parks and lots of side walks for walking your baby, and most of all, I like that it's got pretty decent amenities such as the pools, grills, basketball court, and gym. There are a lot of children at the pools, but they were still fun to relax at. The paint colors and modern look of the apartment is what drew me to it. Also, you rarely miss a package because it gets delivered to the main office. A few pluses: The B3 apartment (which I lived in) has two closets in the pretty spacious master bedroom. The second bedroom is a great size too. Washer and dryer in your unit. Great for if you have a baby like me. Central heating and air. All appliances included. Now, for a few cons: Despite there being lots of free waste bags, people do not pick up after their dogs. The mailboxes and trash can be far from your apartment. The parking is pretty bad. I paid the extra $50 for the covered parking, but my brand new car still ended up with scratches from the stalls being so close to one another. There isn't much storage in the apartments. Overall, my main issue was with some of the workers at the front office. Not once, but twice I received notices despite having paid my rent. Apparently, it was a computer issue, but it wasn't handled well and I never received an apology. It's pretty infuriating to receive a notice to move out in 24hours 15 days after they cashed your rent check. Jeanine was not apologetic at all about, but did offer to call and check before sending me a notice again. Again, I really liked my apartment, but those notices were reason enough to not renew my lease. I also wasn't fond of their policy for having to move when your orders change. Considering that this is a military town, you'd think the lease would be more in line with the laws. In any event, I can only give this place 3 stars due to my bad experiences with the office. We shall see if I ever receive my deposit back. read more

While they do offer nice amenities and grounds the staff is highly unprofessional. Especially towards military personnel, we received our orders to leave and were told on the first day of us even looking into this place by staff at minimum it was a 15 day notice. However they told us it was sixty days since they changed it in the newly updated lease when us and a bunch of other military members were leaving.. suspicious. We had at least given them a thirty day, and they refused to even prorate the rent. Yes I know they are not obligated to, but it seems fishy that while they can't charge military for 'breaking the lease' they will charge you the full amount even if you're staying three days into the month. Then there was the utilities, they said we were responsible for the entire month (when staff intentionally leaves the lights on in the apartment all day- as seen with other tenants) we were informed per my husbands higher ups to change our water and electric since we wouldn't be in the state anymore. They then added a bunch of fees saying we didn't pay the water bill from the month prior.. when we paid it with our rent like we always do. Anyways got charged four separate charges totaling to about $200 The apartment itself is nice, technically a bit outdated for the amount they are asking for, the dishwasher had a smell to it, the garbage disposal was old and stank, cracks and chips everywhere. Not to mention how thin the floor our between each level (we were the first floor) our neighbor upstairs with her two huskies were insanely louder than normal. I shouldn't be able to hear where exactly in her apartment she is and what she's doing. The patio was a nightmare because since she didn't use hers the pigeons would nest there and no matter how many times I cleaned or tried to prevent it.. our patio was filled with dried pigeon poop and cat urine from the strays marking everything the next day... I couldn't be out there for a hour without some falling through the boards of the patio upstairs. The faculty members are nice.. however they are lazy. The only ones who seem to be actually working the entire time are the older gentleman and the women who clean the apartments. But the maintenance men are lazy, they will sit in the shed all day and not do the requests and then just change them as done if they don't want to do it. Our dryer was smelling off from the first wash and I put in a request and I saw all the lint buildup, three times I put in the request for nothing to be done. Any other requests even simple ones would take forever, when our ac went down I specified it as a emergency because of my newborn with it being too hot in the apartment and I had to physically go down there on the second day for the guy to come and fix it in five minutes. Other friends of ours still haven't got things fixed from the first day they moved in and put it down. They're rather be out there in the shed or washing their cars than to be fixing the property. When we first moved in I loved the place until you looked closely, it was giving the typical apartment fix, painting over anything that was wrong, our towel holder wasn't even fastened into the wall it was just placed in the holes. The floors were sticky and I had to physically scrub them to get the stains out, the dog park was just dirt and old rusty equipment.. don't even get me started on the owners! Beware of the man with two smaller dogs and a boxer that lives near them, his boxer will bite you! And the man will just laugh it off! The main pool was out of service while the club house was being fixed, I wouldn't go into that pool for at least a month.. they stopped cleaning it after awhile and I'm sure they are going to shock the hell out of that thing! Not to mention the fact that volleyball court is completely covered in cat poop now! The park is so depressing because it's so high off the ground I can't even take my daughter there without being worried she'd fall from so high! It shouldn't be at least two to three feet off the ground. Not to mention the sprinklers all hit it so it's flooded most of the time. They charge you for parking if you want a covered spot get half the people if not all that park there never even pay the fee, you get charged for trash pickup when they can't even bother to clean all of the hallways and walkways. I've seen tenants physically clean them themselves because they are tired of it, people don't pick up their dog shit and don't get fined for it. The dogs are off leash and when complaining to management they say to send a picture but won't do anything about it unless you know specifically where they live. The pools are dirty even though they are supposed to clean them everyday with the net but won't because maintenance is lazy, the gates are broken half the time and remain open so there's no safety with that it's a mess in disguise! read more

This has been the worst apartment complex I've ever lived in. The units are overpriced, especially for third-floor apartments. The living spaces are small, and things tend to break easily, with maintenance taking a long time to respond. The gate system is particularly confusing for guests--especially at the entrance on the Pellicano side--where both gates are labeled for residents and guests, despite only one being meant for guest access. Utility costs are consistently rising. Additionally, management's claim that they will handle repainting if you patch holes from wall mounts is misleading. Overall, I would not recommend renting here; it's an experience you'll likely regret. read more

If you love animals, do not choose this place to live. There are some feral cats that roam the area. Since you are not allowed to remove them by law, you can have them fixed and put back in the area. It seems that instead of following the law, someone is killing them. There have been many feral cats around there that have been poisoned. So beware that their is one or many cruel people living at these apartments. There needs to be consequences for the people who hurt these animals. I will be following up with police to see if they can get camera footage. This place will be going down. read more

I moved here and shortly after moving in, I was needing to get my own place and not with my boyfriend. Jennifer was very helpful in getting me a place and quickly. Unfortunately, after getting the new place I was offered a new job in another city here in TX. Jennifer was amazing in helping me get my deposit and rent back due to the fact I didn't move into the new place. The maintenance guys were very good and helpful. If I could give zero stars I would but google doesn't allow that. Do not live here and do not waste your time. I am giving my honest review/ experience living there . It was absolute crap living here. Constant noise at the pool at 3 am while tenets do not respect quiet time. The dog park was absolutely sh**. Dog poop every where and fleas also. People don't respect the covered paid parking spots and beer cans on the grass after their night out. During covid , tenets would bring the whole family, a family of 6 that do not live there to the pool while the office said " do not bring guests". But people don't listen like always. Office staff do not give any fines or notes and are always clueless of what to do. We have tried contacting the office about all the issues but they don't give an absolute damm about it. I lived here for a year and I am disappointed about all the aspects of the apartment complex. The apartment was very dirty when we first moved in the carpet was disgusting there were black stains all over, the walls were stained. Mold was even growing on both our windows. I hired a carpet cleaner to clean the carpets and washed the walls. My deposit was not returned because they supposedly had to paint and clean when the apartment was disgusting when we moved in. The apartment manager, Jennifer is rude. Instead of hearing the complaints she fights and raises her voice when she even decides to return your phone calls. I was threatened in the apartmemt because an individual thought we towed his car, which we did not. Management did absolutely NOTHING to help. Did not even call to make sure us or our property was fine. According to their website they are a luxory community but that is completely false advertisement. Management is rude and has the worst costumer service ever, I did not yell at her yet she decided to yell at me. Please read all the reviews before deciding to live in the community. See the apartment before you sign the contract they show you a nice apartment when in fact the aparement you will be living in is in gross conditions. read more

Great people in the front office. Nice apartments. The problem I had was the tenants not picking up their dog's poo. Its everywhere. Bags are provided but not used. There are only two dedicated child play areas and tenants let their dogs poo in the child play areas. It was infuriating that my little daughter was always getting poo on her. Seriously, the poo is everywhere, even on sidewalks. People don't even have the decency to take their dogs in the grass, they just let their dogs dump right on the sidewalks. Management will not address offenders and will not task any staff to clean it. It just stays on the sidewalk until it decomposes. read more

Do not rent here. I travel professionally usually staying in a city for 2-3 months. I rented this place on a short term 3 month lease. I've been living here for about a year, apartments are very nice from the outside, everything is kept clean and has a good amount of amenities such as two pools, couple parks, half a basketball court and a soccer field, however, even with those perks nothing can make up for the cheap craftsmanship of the apartments inside, walls scratch from a simple bump in, things constantly break down in the apartment (which by the way the maintenance group is amazing 5 stars to them). Management in the front office is very rude, I had an issue where I was deployed since I'm military, my wife stayed behind but due to it being a sudden deployment due to a special circumstance I had a pay issue since no one in my unit was prepared for it. I went ahead and let them know ahead of time as well as when rent was due that I was going to be late and offered to send a copy of my orders to let them know I was currently deployed. After arguing with the front desk I asked for Jeniffer the manager and all she said was to make the payment as soon as possible as well with all late fees. I was livid. To put the cherry on top their "pool patrol" is the grinch, this past Memorial Day weekend he kicked out 2 families out of the pool due to having 1 child over the limit. Not only that but on the way out he knocked down one of the families ice chest to prove they had glass bottles in there. Now I'm all for following the rules but kicking families out for having one child over or knocking over someone's personal property is very unprofessional which reflects poorly on the apartments staff. They may have been best of the best in 2016 but their standards definitely lowered. read more

Turns out the lady had lied to me. Got 40 dollars back on my deposit after three months. Outstanding.

I put in my 60 day notice and they stated last month's rent wouldn't be due until the last day. I get an email stating I was late so I contacted them. They said that shouldn't have been the case so I paid it up. Now they just charged me late fees. The place is disgusting as it's covered in pigeon feces, they blare music at the pool all day (it's not the tenants, it's the staff blaring it), they don't enforce any rules and the parking lot fills up from visitors over the weekend which causes those actually living here to not be able to park where they live. read more

I always thought the place was pretty good besides them not taking care of fitness centers. You definitely get your money's worth apartments wise. We rented a condo with new appliances as well. Besides that, their staff is HORRIBLE. I had to break my lease with them and paid a total penalties of $3500 ,which was fine with me since my company was taking care of the moving expenses. I was promised by Jackie in leasing office that we would receive our full deposit back since we paid all the penalty dues in our contract. After waiting two months for refund I called her and the response was " Oh I though you would get it back but now my manager tells me that you can not. Let me call you back tomorrow and see what can we do for you." Not to my surprise she never called me or responded to my e-mail. Afterwards I had to contact the ownership and able to retrieve almost half of my deposit back six months after moving out. So it's a nice complex with nice pools, secured gate and newer apartments but the leasing office staff is absolutely unprofessional, rude and not trained how to handle residents. If I ever go back to EP I wouldn't rent there just because of their staff. read more

Watch out before you get ripped off. We had this apt for a year and a half ever since my mother-in law was placed into a nursing home. We live out of town and would use the apt so my wife could visit for a week or two at a time. Our water bill was divided by and paid to the Castijella office with about a 45 day lag in the bill. For almost a year and a half my water bill was always between $20-$25 a month. After the new owners took over, near the end of our lease, our final water bill was almost $98 dollars for the last two months. I called and spoke to the manager, Irene to complain that the meter wasn't being read right or it wasn't divided correctly because my bill was doubled and we hadn't even stayed in the apt for over 2 months after my mother-in law passed. She told me it was correct and that's what it was. It was being deducted from my deposit and there was nothing wrong with their system. She could not explain why a vacant apt would use $50 in water a month when it had always been less than $25 when we stayed there, she just kept saying it was the correct amount. There was nothing I could do about it. So if you're looking at this place.....Beware and look elsewhere, before they steal your money too. read more

I lived here at these apartments for a little over two years. My husband is military so when it came to the move it happened quick. We were told we would only be charged for three things, our last water bill, oven cleaning and carpet cleaning. A month passed by and we called to ask about our deposit and they had charged us extra for painting and labor as well! The manager herself came to inspect our apartment and told us our walls were amazing and the cleanest she's ever seen! They also charged us an extra 350 for our dog deposit because apparently we only paid half. When I went in myself and took in what I thought was the last payment for my dog deposit and ask them if I owed anything else and they said no. In the end I didn't even get 1/3 of my deposit back! They're incompetent and unprofessional. I wouldn't suggest living there unless you plan on getting extremely screwed over. I will say maintenance was a group of awesome people though. read more

My family moved out almost 4 months ago and in this time I still never received anything from them regarding my deposit. (We were told it would take 14 days for a close out statement and up to 30 for a deposit refund) I called way too many times to count and still nothing. Every time I speak with Linda she takes my info and never calls me back like she says she will. When I speak to Jeanette she tells me my deposit is in the mail, after a month she tells me again my deposit is in the mail and again after 3 months. I finally spoke to the Manager, Jennifer, who seemed helpful until I finally received my close out statement only to find out they charged me for any and every little thing which there was no reason to do so as I left my apartment in much better condition then it was when my family had moved in, there was no reason why we shouldn't have received our FULL deposit. Also, In the time we lived there the whole building was INFESTED with bugs, it wasn't a great experience at all. The apartments are very cheaply built and everything falls apart constantly and when you need the Maintenance people to fix anything, it takes at least a week for them to get back to you. By far the worst experience I have had with renting while living in El Paso. On a plus note, I did however really love that it's in a gated community and you do genuinely feel safe here. If you are a Military family I really wouldn't recommend this place, they'll make it seem like they're giving you discounts but if your Orders change and you have to move before your contract is up they will make you pay back all the "discounts" they supposedly give for Military and you'll be hit with fees right and left. Seriously, don't bother with this place if you're Military, you won't have the time to deal with it. read more

We've lived here going on a year, and love it. The office staff is super, and the maintenance folks are the best! Very professional and friendly. My senior citizen mom lives with me, so I can watch out for her. Well, seems the staff looks out for her too, which we both apperciate. Feel very safe and secure. No major neighbor problems. They go above and beyond with their service, and great attitude. Any concerns are quickly addressed. Definitely recommend this place. read more
