I feel truly blessed that I fell into the care of Dr. Jason! I am surviving Fibromyalgia and most recently lost a portion of my hearing in both ears due to Tinnitus. After going through cancer treatment and a bone marrow transplant I was having major back and neck issues. I was also having severe cramping in my hands and feet that I couldn't seem to get any relief from with other chiropractors I had been to, so I sent Dr. Nichole an email as a last resort explaining my situation and was pleasantly surprised at her quick and optimistic response. Dr. Jason and Dr. Nichole are both wonderful. They are informative, professional and I am very grateful for all of the help they have provided. I started going to Casto Chiropractic last year after my second knee surgery. I have never been to a chiropractor before and I was a bit skeptical to be honest. My body was completely off with horrible hip and shoulder pain. So I decided, why not? I started going about three times a week to get adjusted, tapering off less and less as the weeks went by. I was diagnosed with Costo Chondritis (inflammation of the chest wall lining) in 2011 which never went away after multiple types of treatments and 10 doctors - it instead turned into a chronic mess and now suspected being arthritis. I am seeing Nichole for treatment for neck pain and headaches. She is using the ART method and explains everything so I understand what she is doing and why. I have a greater range of motion in my neck and less pain, and am very happy with the way things are progressing. She takes the time to listen to me and takes notes so as to give me exactly what I need to alleviate my discomfort. Their office runs efficiently and in a timely manner. Rarely do I wait very long in the office, unless I arrive early for my appointment. I waited years to get treatment for my neck pain as I was nervous to have someone "crack" my neck. A friend told me Nicole was great with necks and there were other methods than the traditional "cracking" method, so I gave it a try. So, I've seen quite a few different chiropractors over the years with my lovely back issues. When I moved to Tahoe, it took me a few tries at other chiro offices in Tahoe before I found Casto chiropractic, and I was so glad when I did. It is night and day difference from my previous chiropractor, and I've been seeing them for four years now. A lot of chiropractors cannot adjust my neck. Or I should say, they try, and fail and I leave feeling like my neck is worse off than when I arrived. :) But I have never had that issue here! They are great at their adjustments, not just my neck, and while I am comfortable with a higher level of adjustments the majority of the time, while I was pregnant they were very sensitive to my condition and modified their approach. I was vacationing with some family up in South Lake, tweaked my right shoulder/neck to where the pain locked it up. With my normal chiropractor down in the valley, I turned to yelp to help me out.
