Every time I ruin my body during endurance training, Jason always manages to put me back together quickly. I prefer traditional chiropractics (no pain, no gain) instead of the more minimalist approach, and Jason gets in there and gets it done. Both Castos are super nice. Professional and the technique that was used was very effective. I immediately felt better and the numbness in my arms subsided. The cost was very reasonable too. Before I went to see Jason Casto, I was very skeptical of chiropractic care. I wasn't interested in being "popped" or 'cracked" and I expected I would be told the only way I could maintain any relief from symptoms was to come back regularly (the up-sell). For years, I struggled with pain in my right upper back and neck area. Nagging, painful, distracting. It reached critical mass and I decided to give chiro a try. Jason has a very low-force style. He works WITH you, manipulating as you move. It's not at ALL what I expected and most importantly, I GOT RELIEF! Plus...no up-sell. He SUGGESTED I come regularly, but he and Nicole are very low pressure about it. He didn't say "the only way this will work is if you sign here for so many visits...blah, blah". They want what's best for you and they aren't salespeople. They have their priorities straight. Also, they have both always made time for me in a pinch. I have seen Nicole when Jason isn't available and she was very helpful too. She has a different style, a little more firm. I know tons of people who prefer her. It's just what works for you. I had a hard pregnancy and everyone I talked to said to go to Casto Chiropractic. Im so glad I listened to them. It was night and day how I felt. I was able to work with out pain and not as tiered after a long day. The front desk is nice, they are clean and Nichole kicks butt!! I have been a patient of Dr. Jason Casto for over 3 years and he always helps alleviate pain I'm having whether it's in my back, knees, shoulders, feet, hamstrings or wrists. Dr. Jason uses traditional chiropractic techniques, but also incorporates active release technique (A.R.T). In A.R.T., he uses his hands to break up the adhesions with stretching motions. Jason understands my sport and the need to be able to continue to workout without much downtime. His goal is to get me working out again without pain as soon as possible! I also go see Dr. Jason before my Powerlifting competitions to make sure my body is working at its best. I have won many American and World records within a day or two of getting an adjustment. You don't always have to be in pain to get a whole body adjustment. My body works better when it is aligned and ready to do what it is designed to do. I came to see Nicole after a bad skiing accident left me with severe back and neck pain. After just a few sessions I was pain free. Besides my back and neck pain I also had severe shoulder pain due to overuse. Neither a doctor nor a physical therapist could do anything for my shoulder pain. However the laser therapy Casto Chiropractic offers worked wonders. After several laser sessions and Jason working on my shoulder, I am now pain free again. Walking into Casto Chiropractic and seeing Dr. Nichole for the first time was a god-send for my aching back. I own a residential cleaning company, Kay Bee Green Clean and working in the industry had me aching severely for good spinal care. Originally from the Bay Area, I started seeing a Chiropractor there after being in a biking accident several years ago, breaking my arm and having plates installed on my arm and wrist as a result. Severe shoulder and neck pain creep up unless I am getting care pretty routinely. I've tried skipping it to save money but unfortunately, it leaves me progressively less physically functional and being in constant pain and constant headaches. Before finding Casto, I was seeing another Chiro in town who was making my pain worse. I had been seeing an above and beyond Chiropractor in the Bay Area but after I transplanted to Tahoe, finding Casto Chiropractic has played a huge roll in my well-being and transition to calling this beautiful place 'home.' I moved to Tahoe two years ago and wanted a chiropractor that wasn't just going to "whack and crack" as they say, and move me in and out with the same adjustment every time. I was glad to find Nichole and Jason at Casto Chiropractic. I like working out and lifting weights and combining that with chiropractic keeps me feeling strong. They are both amazing.
