I really appreciate him even taking the time to call me and make things right. It makes a world of difference that he obviously cares about his customers and the service they receive. He seemed to genuinely care about me and the experience I had. Perhaps the incident was just a one time fluke. Again, like I said in the original post, the oil change was fast and the customer service was good prior to the situation. The service was pretty fast considering I was the only one there when I arrived and most of the staff was friendly enough at the beginning of our transaction. However, the day I came it was raining pretty heavy and my windshield wipers had been working just fine until I pulled into their garage for my oil change. The man that was helping me was looking at my wipers, touched one of them, took it off (with some difficulty) and then all of the sudden my wiper, that was working fine until I got there, was broken. He tried to tell me that he didn't break it and that it had been broken before I came in to which I replied that it was just fine until he took it off. After some discussion I was under the impression they were going to put the blade back on my car or give me a new blade complimentary because I VERY clearly said I was not interested in buying a new wiper blade and again, mine was fine until I pulled into their garage. They informed me that my wiper blade could not be put back on and a new blade was placed on my car which I assumed (my bad for assuming I guess) was complimentary because of the prior discussion. However, in reviewing my receipt (I was given a total price with no cost breakdown prior to paying) I noticed that I was charged $20 for one new wiper blade. There was no mention from the staff that they were charging me for the new blade or how much it would cost. In that situation, their customer service was greatly lacking and I felt mislead and taken advantage of. After leaving I realized the wiper blade hey out on was the wrong size so I returned to tell them they put the wrong size wiper on my car. The man that broke my old wiper immediately told me it was the right size and I was wrong. I measured the wiper, it's supposed to be 26 inches, and it's only 24 inches. Again, the oil change was pretty quick and the customer service was good until the wiper incident.

    I have been going to this garage for at least 5 years. I trusted them fully until recently…read more Car number 1 In April of 2024, I took my car into the garage and was told I needed a new motor. I paid for the entire job UP FRONT. It took 5 months to get the car at least drivable again. It's STILL to this day not completed. There was another issue (not related to the motor) so it was put back in the garage for another 4 months (still not completed). When I started asking about the written bill (stating all work associated with the motor, motor cost, all parts put on, the mileage on the new motor, and the warranty information for the motor) I was ignored. To this day I still have NONE of this information. Car number 2 I had my car inspected the end of November 2024. Had new tires put on. Went to another establishment, McCahans Alignment (highly recommend) to have an alignment done. In two months, all four brakes were so bad, I not only needed brakes BUT rotors also. How do the brakes get that bad in 2 months that it destroys the rotors in 2 months? Also, the tire sensor light was on, and I was told I didn't need sensors it just needed to be reset. Turns out I needed 3 sensors. IF you have any warranty work done here, ASK for a copy of ALL records of the claim being actually made. This was never done for me and now the warranty is out, I have paid for much of the work to be done, and the price of the warranty when I bought the car. I have been blatantly overcharged for things. When it was brought to the attention of the garage, it was always blamed on somebody else. This garage has obviously lowered it's standards since I began going there.

Cartopia Detailing / 365 Auto on W Fourth St in williamsport…read morePA, is easily the most dangerous, incompetent, and unprofessional shop I have ever dealt with in my life. This isn't just bad service. This is straight up mechanical negligence and zero regard for customer safety. The "mechanic" here clearly has no idea what he's doing. Basic installations that any competent tech should handle without issue were completely butchered. He destroyed parts of my vehicle by installing the rear sway bar links incorrectly and literally hammering on the surface of my rotors instead of using the proper tools like someone who actually knows what they're doing. I've now had two separate mechanics look at the car and both confirmed the same thing. The vehicle was dangerously unsafe to drive after leaving this shop. Instead of taking responsibility like a professional, he blames the aftermarket parts that he personally approved or starts attacking customers for "Googling things" when called out. The environment at this place is just as bad as the work they do. * Substance use. The main mechanic has been seen getting high while working on vehicles. Think about that for a second. The person responsible for the safety of your car is impaired while doing the work. * Drama and vandalism. The shop is surrounded by constant drama and chaos. There have even been situations where people's cars were getting slashed because of the personal problems the staff drags into the business. If you care about your vehicle or your safety do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. There are plenty of honest shops out there. This is not one of them.
