We couldn't have been happier with the experiences we've had at Primrose. Specifically the communication from the teachers and staff is amazing. We receive daily updates on what he eats, his lessons, his engagement, and updates on events happening through the week. In addition, one of the best features of the app that they use is receiving photos. I know I'm preaching to the parent choir here, but I can't explain how uplifting it can be to receive a photo of your child smiling and engaged in the middle of the day while you're at work. In addition, the level of care and attention provided by the teachers is so refreshing and inspiring. Specifically, they take the time to write personal notes and letters and Happy Grams to our son. This truly shows that they care about my son and are interested in his Social and Emotional Learning (SEL). The only disappointment that I have to write is that this will be our son's last year here - only because he is in the Kindergarten class and that's as far as he can go! If further grades were offered, we would be delighted, but are so happy for this one year that he is able to spend. Thank you Primrose....

But as the first week was coming to a close we noticed a major difference. She started talking about her "friends" and she wanted to "go see the kids". Oh and her teacher...Ms. Janay! She is THE BEST! And she loves Ms. Keisha! All of the staff are kind hearted. Respectful. Welcoming. Loving. The right people you would want taking care of your child when you are not around. Also, and this may not mean much for some...but this facility is the most diverse facility I visited when shopping for childcare. I believe this is important and was indeed the biggest factor in our little brown girl feeling safe and secure. There were people there that looked like her own family at home. The teachers in the minnows room are gentle and loving. They work with the babies to do fun arts and crafts, teach them sign language, and cuddle and love them. My baby has never had a need that was not met. She is happy and excited when I drop her off at school. She's attended since 8 weeks and I've never once had a complaint. My 2 year old also attends Cadence. His teachers have the patience of saints. Toddlers are not always easy, and though I've seen quite a few outbursts from the kids as toddlers will do, I've never once seen a teacher raise her voice or lose patience. They love the kids and teach them structure, love, and acceptance. Ms. Kayla and Ms. Jessica in particular have been wonderful with my son and have worked with him and with us tirelessly during the "joys" of potty training. I recommend this place 100% and love it so much that we drive a half an hour each way just so my kids can attend. If you want a loving environment with values and education, this is the place to be.

They hire anyone that speaks Spanish and give them the minimum training required by the state and that which the busy director can provide. The director is unprofessional to put it kindly. It's a very much "blame the child" and "blame the parents for the child's behavior" type of environment. Being our first child and first daycare experience we started to feel like there was something wrong with the way we were disciplining our child at home. I'll always feel guilty that we stuck with this place for so long despite all the red flags. When my child left Casa Castigo she couldn't even be hugged without screaming. It took us hiring a nanny that was very patient and affectionate and eventually she turned back to being the happy and affectionate child she was before. We have since been to other daycares where our child has thrived and not have any problems. Communication is another one of those red flags. Much later after the fact I came to find out that my child had a meltdown so bad that they took her out of the classroom and kept her in the hallway for a long time while she cried. This would have been the type of thing that I would expect to have been told about. If you choose this place for your child please pay attention to the red flags.

Ms. Ava is new in the twos class, but she has already gone above and beyond to build a relationship with both of my boys and be a comfort for them when they are away from home. We were so nervous to leave Ms. Jessica in the 1 year old class because she was such a calming and nurturing presence for our wild guy, but she has helped tremendously in the transition and continues to check in and offer support.
