This daycare is truly a wonderful place, and the staff deserves all of the credit. It was always a delightful experience when interacting with them and my son absolutely loved his teachers and the entire staff at CC. They were great at conveying information about my son throughout the day, very prompt about calling if ever there may have been any issues or concerns, and was just always very informative about all upcoming activities and the welfare of my son. The price was the most affordable in the area, the hours of op. were the earliest I could find which was extremely convenient for days when I needed an early start. My son attended from about 9mo till about 3.5yo, until we moved out of state, and i never regretted our decision to choose CC as the daycare for him. As an educator, I realize how important these early years are to my daughter's development and future. They really focus on free play which is VERY important both psychologically and in educational development. Caterpillar Clubhouse really feels like one big family. My daughter LOVES attending and is excited to go to school everyday. Currently they are helping in potty training my daughter, continuing the support she receives at home. Ever since starting at Caterpillar Clubhouse I can see a positive difference in my daughter. Fantastic daycare! We love this daycare because the staff is great and our daughter is crazy about her teachers. This is a small, friendly, family run daycare so you get that personal touch instead of feeling like an insignifigant number in a huge daycare chain. The staff really cares about your children and it shows! The price and location can't be beat either. This is the most wonderful hidden gem Manassas has to offer in child care. My littlest struggled in the transition from babysitter to Daycare. I have visited about 90% of the facilities in Manassas. They focus on family values, social interaction, behavioral improvement, as well as academics. This facility allows children to be children. Every other facility I have been to only allows 30 minutes for outside time. No outside time in the snow. That's ridiculous. The reason for obesity in America. Caterpillar values learning through play. My child is allowed to explore, plant flowers, play in the snow, take mini field trips, and learn while having fun. If you want your child to be a mini adult, sucking their youths away for 9 to 10 hours a day, take them somewhere else. If you want to take them to a magical land of imagination, discovery, and learning, take them to Caterpillar Clubhouse in Manassas. Look at the wonderful mini shops, kitchens, post office, cabin, sand play area, dance area, etc. they have to offer. Their floors are worn from the multiple little feet that have trampled on them, but do not let that be your basis for judgment. Many of the teachers are Mothers. There are gentleman teachers that are there to start their dreams of teaching and starting their own sports programs (and happy to share their aspirations). It's rare to find young men in the daycares, and an absolute treasure. These young men provide the male influence that many children lack. All of the teachers are kind, supportive, understanding (especially when your child is having a bad day). They are open at 5:30 AM, and have little mats for your child to get in that extra little sleep. Rare. I cannot say enough great things. Walk in and get to see inside those rooms. This daycare is the best! Great prices and the staff is wonderful! They really care about the children and make the day fun, as well as teach them so much! We loved our time here, but unfortunately moved out if state. I would definitely recommend this daycare for children of all ages!!!! read more

This place is a fantastic daycare! It is completely family owned and operated..unlike those other huge chains. The director and her daughter are an amazing team. They will make you feel like part of their family and they will love your children like family. They hire staff who are just as dedicated as them. If you want your child to be a face with a name instead of another $$ number in a big chain...COME HERE!! My son has loved every second he is at Caterpillar. In fact, he gets mad at me when I come to pick him up and he has to leave. The location is really convenient too and the prices can't be beat! read more
