Cathy Toso is one of the best people I've ever had in my life. She explains things so well and doesn't move on until students really understand things. She goes out of her way to help students (i.e. answers emails promptly, always available via text, etc) and is really fair and honest on what you need to focus on more. Another positive is that she was able to easily make dry material interesting because she is so funny. She has several tricks/stories to help us remember information more easily. I have owned seven homes in my lifetime, two since moving to California. I have not been very impressed with any of them agents. My wife suggested that I should get my realtors license. I decided to look into it. I could of taken online classes but after meeting Cathy Toso from Win Win Realty school through Keller Williams, I decided that was a better fit. This review is based on the Real Estate class that is taught by Cathy for Keller Willams. Let me start by saying that Cathy is very energetic and knowledgeable but the class is lacking in professionalism. I did not expect suits and ties but for the instructor to be wearing short shorts and tank tops to teach a class is too relaxed even for the most casual of atmospheres. I have met some attention seeking individuals before but Cathy is in a class all her own. The first half hour of the class generally started with a personal story told by Cathy, very enthusiastically I might add, complete with personal details about the other parties involved which tended to be ex- husbands, boyfriends and crushes. I believe she mentioned her six figure income in every story told. She once brought her guitar to class and proceeded to play it and sing to us completely off key. We were also advised that Cathy knows the names of every person she has slept with as she can count them all on one hand. I'm pretty sure she was expecting applause after that revelation instead of the chirping crickets that followed after the statement was made. As far as any relevant information that actually pertained to getting our real estate licenses that info was given to us at a speed that was difficult to keep up with. This women can talk a mile a minute but there is not much being said. I have worked customer service for many years and I also know how to talk in circles to confuse someone in to backing down when questions are being presented that one does not have a good answer for. Let's keep it real. For example, first class we were advised that our books were not in, when a student asked about the books a couple weeks in to the class we were advised that the poorly made copies we received were our books and once the class was over we would never reference the "books" again. Personally when I am learning a subject I usually reference the book I used to learn the material. I guess I'm just weird that way. Also she was not upfront about all the fees that had to be paid in order to obtain a real estate license but I can't fault her for that as I should have researched on my own exactly what was entailed instead of being sold to by B.S. Artists such as Cathy Toso and Rob Talbot. They first stated that only a select few would be considered for positions with the esteemed Keller Williams and close to the end of classes we were advised that we were all welcome to choose Keller Williams as a broker because we were all just that great. If you want to pay 350.00 dollars for a terrible one women show twice a week for eight weeks take this class. read more
