I attended multiple colleges (Central Texas College and Pierce College), and it was confusing to decide what to pursue. When I moved to Hawaii, my NCO recommended checking out AMU/APUS. When I inquired, the lady I spoke with was very helpful. I went to my college advisor, and he helped me decide to pursue an Associate's in General Studies. After completing my AA, it gave me the idea on what to major in so I started my BA in Transportation and Logistics Management. After completing my BA, I began my MA in Supply Chain Management. Overall, I completed my AA, BA, and MA from this university. I had no issues with the school, and all of my professors were always willing to help and mentor me. I highly recommend this university for new Soldiers trying to figure out the balance between college and military life.

I was here for a white coat ceremony and fell in love with all of the ponds, streams, and lakes that dot the campus. They have charming little red bridges, cherry blossom trees, happy forsythia bushes, and weeping willows which makes spring an absolute spectacular time to walk around. Although the school is small, it was evident that the staff was committed to the personal wellbeing and success of every student. The camaraderie in the room was absolutely electric and every student got a white coat cookie with their name on it. How's that for personalization? There's tons of wineries and cute small town restaurants near by as well. I really enjoyed my visit!

This campus is cleaner, nicer. But it is smaller, and is often quiet and deserted on weekends. The library is usually empty on weekends. It's a good place to study. There's no public parking.. only temporary parking.. if you're gonna be there more than 1 or 2 hours.. you have to pay.

The school will tell you how safe their campus is with hundreds of cameras everywhere keeping them safe and protected. But when your daughter gets assaulted in the quad suddenly there's no footage of the assault and the star athlete that attacked her has zero consequences and the police reports disappear and they try to make it all go away and pretend that it didn't happen. this all happened years ago, but my daughter still has physical and mental trauma, including severe migraine. It'll probably last her the rest of her life and the university could care less the way we were treated was disgusting. we are reminded every day of the injustice that occurred on this campus when we see our daughter in pain almost a decade later. stay away from this corrupt institution

I recall on our first Shabbat how we were welcomed warmly before we ever got into the sanctuary and it gave us a sense of warmth and acceptance that has only grown since. We now have a new, vibrant, energetic young rabbi who is inspirational and conversational. He wants to know who you are so he can be the spiritual leader you need him to be for "you" as well as for the rest of the community. You will always feel safe and never alone in this synagogue from a security as well as a "family" point of view. Whether you become a member or not is up to you. This synagogue will embrace you whenever you are ready because you will always feel safe be special when you are in that building. Reach out and you will not be disappointed.
